Assassin´s Creed III - Part 1

I've never purchased an Assassin's Creed game, but I played the first one and I loved teh mechanics. Now that the new one is entering the frontier era of America, my favorite era, this has jumped towards the top of my list for most anticipated games. The screens I've seen also look stunning, and it really sounds like it's going to be a fun and authentic feeling game.

The first game is easily the worst in the series. Its too bad you never played the second one bc it improved upon it in every single way

Yea if one enjoyed the first game then they're in for a great treat with the sequels.

I have a quick question

Did AC: revelations ever reveal why lucy was killed? If so why was it?

The DLC Lost Archive did.
She's a Templar. She allowed Desmond to escape so he would feel more at ease and open up more intel in his genetic memory. She was born an Assassin, but after being stuck in Abstergo for so long she feels that the Assassins don't care about people and that the Templars really do want to help because they "know humans have limits" or something. Desmond and the gang don't know however, just the player.

I ****ing loved the first one.

I don't know if I can ever really go back to it, because honestly, and speaking as someone who seriously loved the first enough to 100% the achievements for it, the series just made massive leaps forward with the second.

If Ezio hadn't come around, and ACII been as good as it was...that series easily could have just died then and there. There had been a ton of hype with the first, and mystery. And people seemed letdown by in large, but enough were convinced of it's potential for it to get another go around.

If you've never played any of them, I'd recommend playing the first. It's always good to start at the first if you can. The game has it's problems, repetitiveness seems to be the label it always got, but it's functional and not broken any horrible ways. Slush through it, and I think you can gain a certain appreciation for the leaps made in the second. I also recommend it because it could just be too hard to start with the second and go back to the first without that one feeling...empty. Less to do, etc.

That, and you'll see a different approach to the storytelling. I mean, compared to the first one, you kill a TON more dudes. Like...mass-****ing-murder number of assassination compared to the first one.

Learn how the lore of Assassin's Creed is created and why a game set in feudal Japan or World War II is a possibility.

I got the GI today. The preview of this game was very mouth watering. :D

I love all AC games. AC 2 is one of my favorites games ever. This one will surely be as huge, if not even better. I'm glad they chose the american revolution as a setting. It's a really interesting time period to me. I liked this movie with Al Pacino, "Revolution", it gave a great idea of how tough those times were, and I'm sure Ubisoft will make an incredible ending to Desmond's journey.

Is it confirmed that this will be Desmond's ending?,I feel there's still more for him and I even expect the next game or so to be just Desmond in modern day as a modern day assassin!

Yeah,You play as him in his tribe then as he gets older,Like Ezio But from a younger age to an young adult!!!

yes, I think it is indeed confirmed that AC3 is the end Of Desmond story.

Yeah that's some epic stuff right there. Also I can't wait to as a young Connor and journey to who he's meant to be.

Eh I don't think that toon is funny,In the GI preview it already states that Franklin will play an integral role..But NOT like Leonardo Da Vinci,Don't expect Benjamin to be a convenient inventor!!!

Yea i agree. I thought it was really stupid.

I'm wondering if the whole Assassin's Creed series would end with it being in present day. If so, do you guys think that it may somehow ruin its integrity since the series itself only has present day segments and the majority taking place in the past?
