Assassin´s Creed III - Part 2

Pity they don't have that option or something similar in the DLC. It's only a minor nitpick anyway.

I pushed through out but I just got the platinum in this game. Im gonna have to go back and do the Benedict Arnold DLC. Im more pumped for Comet now as I look forward to revisiting this universe

Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered Is Finally On Its Way

Just found that the Americas Collection wasn't released for Ps4. So alongside, the 2007 game, this is another one that isn't available for ps4. I hope it comes out early next year. I also want the first one to be remastered or at least be ported to ps4.

The remaster of Rogue was released in March. The remaster of the Ezio Trilogy was released in November. I hope the remaster of AC3 is a March release, but since there isnt a new AC game coming out next November they may want to release AC3 during that time to fill that empty spot.

It already told you that in one of the other AC threads you bumped up

I am a bit uninterested finishing Watch Dogs 2 right now so I will save it for later on, and normally I would wait for a price cut but I picked up Asssasin 3 remastered this early because I want to play another Ac game that is pre-Origins and its 2 games in 1.

I have to say the graphics look amazing like when you're controlling the player, the scenery looks great, like I like the graphics of this more than Watch Dogs 2's graphics so far (though I've only seen like 2 percent of WD2). However the cutscenes not so much, it has the obvious ps3 game being remastered look but its fine. I hated that progress tracker was absent in Origins so seeing it in this is nice.

I'm still in sequence 2 and its a bit slow so far. But hopefully it won't get difficult as I progress more. I also haven't free roamed yet. And I heard its better not to upgrade the ship so much because one mission will punish you if you have a fully upgraded ship and I'm trying not to forget that.

I have finally finished this. Including the side missions, it is a long game but of course when it comes to Assassin's Creed, I finish the game in a rapid pace (except for Origins). I really liked how this looked similar to Black Flag and Rogue. There's hunting and the graphics look good. I liked that there are four major locations, the map is big and I expected smaller. Though I don't really like the look of frontier but Boston looks great so as New York. I was really excited to play this because other than the first game and Odyssey, this was the other one that I was missing and I feel like a big middle piece is no longer missing. I also liked that the characters that were in Rogue are here.

However, I had to finish 4 sequences in 3 days, just to get the whole Assassin's Creed experience by finding collectibles during free roam. Like thats a bit much waiting especially I want to find the collectibles and I couldn't do that during the first four sequences.

The side missions are so many, especially when I started paying attention to the rest. It was like the side missions over all were like 3 times longer than the main missions. The Homestead missions were nice. Short, easy, not really repetitive and I liked it when more people and establishments were added to Homestead. The underground stuff took so long to finish and the setting was kinda creepy. The citizen missions were easy though it took me a while to get the crafting thing, the menu just looked confusing to navigate. The forts were few but were a bit challengening. Some of the collectibles were easy to find, but I had a lot of trial and error with the feathers and almanacs. I liked the liberation missions and I really liked the assassin recruits/training/assist were back. The clubs were more like a checklist, so I didn't really try to complete them. The privateer contacts were easy, though the naval ship missions were harder and longer but still not frustrating. The naval locations were my least favorite from the entire game, the side objectives of those were annoying. If there was 1 thing I didn't really try to finish is the West Point missions as they aren't included in the 100% completion.

The story missions were fine, most were easy, some took time but not terribly hard. I liked they kinda took their time to develop major characters. However, the story is slow and it affects the gameplay. Like I said, it was in sequence 5 when I could start looking for the other collectibles and I had to finish a lot of main story missions, just to activate the side missions. It took the last part of sequence 5 to use the ship. The game requires a bit of patience and it is just not something I could jump right through from the start and do a lot of things. Then before I could roam New York, I had to finish the entire sequence 8 and that annoying Desmond stealth mission which took me like ten repeats. The characters once again in Assassin's Creed, I didn't feel invested and its weird thinking about it and I don't have anything to say about the characters. Well I felt bad when Achilles died from sleep, thats actually 1 death in the entire series that made me sad. The present day stuff were tedious. I always found Desmond to be okay but I was never attached to him compare to the ones that I've got to play. And once again, the present day ending was abrupt and I don't know why Ubisoft keeps doing that.

My other problems; the controls in choosing a weapon confused me in the beginning, as well crafting items. The Aquila is also a bit slow moving. I wish there were more costumes and animals to hunt. Completing the side objectives were annoying so I didn't bother to replay them.

Over all, I expected a harder game but there wasn't a mission that really drove my patience. There were like 3 stealth missions that I had to repeat like at least five times, but the other AC games were much harder. Compare to Rogue/Black Flag, this obviously felt a step backwards in game mechanics but the game still have a lot to offer and I just liked getting to experience this. I don't know if I would play the DLC next or if I would just move on to Liberation.
