I seem to be having this weird problem where I'm plundering ships with like 50 or 105 wood on them, and my wood supply count is stuck at 482. Help?
you have to upgrade your cargo storage. it allows you to carry more up to 1000 wood. will the supplies turn red that means they are maxed out. until you upgrade your cargo. their is a limit though once your cargo is maxed out. i know wood is 1000, but i haven't maxed out anything else yet.

i think if they want to continue with edward the bermuda triangle would be a good place. this map would be a good area. lots of island and it is just adjacent to the previous one.

One other thing I kinda take issue with in this game.

Edward is a sailor/privateer right? He is not an assassin at all, never trained or anything like Ezrio or Conner. So how is it he can use eagle vision and scale buildings with incredible ease like an assassin? Now granted, I'm sure being a sailor back then could really harden a man, I've no doubt he can carry himself well because of his lifestyle. But I'm not so sure he could pick up assassin like abilities from it.

Am I alone in this complaint?

I never worry too much about stuff like this although I can understand why others do. I want my own enjoyment to be maximised and that involves the lead character in an AC game having all the abilities of a master assassin even if the game doesn't directly explain how he acquired those abilities. I'll just put it down to good "assassin genetics" and a lot of free time when he was a kid. :woot:

Eagle Vision shouldn't even have existed with Altair unless there was some magical power in his body or he had use a device from the far future,How do you train someone to see things in different colors and different ways?

After all of these game eagle vision is just whatever and standard,I don't have this game yet but I would only it if I really had to like in the other games

I always thought it was hereditary. Like, a special power only for the ones that bloodline.

As that map shows, the Bermuda Triangle is nothing but empty ocean. It touches on the island of Bermuda itself, and on a handful of Bahamian islands (which we've already seen plenty, plenty of in ACIV). The Triangle is just an arbitrary trick of geometry that Charles Berlitz invented back in the 60s to create some sensationalism....the simple fact of the matter is that there's far, far more "unexplained" disappearances in the Atlantic *outside* of the Triangle than there is *within* it. And that's simply because it's a vast stretch of ocean, with all kinds of ways for ships and planes to disappear without a trace, even today.

There's still lots of strange and wonderful places in real life that Edward could explore in a sequel to ACIV, but "the Devil's Triangle" shouldn't be more than a weird side-quest, at best.

I *would* like to see some pirate DLC that gets all mystical and mythical, though, and I know it's treading into Jack Sparrow's waters, but things like the Flying Dutchman ghost ship, Atlantis, mermaids, Davy Jones' Locker, the Kraken and the like would make for some great future adventures.

Count me in for that!

He's a pirate, he can climb. thats about the best explanation you'll get. Better than Ezio's. He could just do it.

yeah i was hoping for some sea monster somewhere.

Eagle Vision was a sixth sense that certain lineages of humans possessed, as a result of being created by the First Civilization. Though every human held the potential for it, bloodlines of humans who had interbred with their creators held a greater concentration of the necessary genes, and were thus more likely to exhibit the ability.

from the wiki.

Eagle vision, as others have said, its just something some have the ability to do(Desmonds ancestors obviously were very attuned to it) Its not taught by the Assassins. As Edward said early in the game he's always had the ability to see things others couldnt. His free running probably came the same way Ezios did, they just picked it up through life. Edward has probably always been a thief or scoundrel and needed to know how to outrun guards.

Jeezus no! I was scared enough swimming for buried treasure with sharks and eels about, deff don't want no giant ass squid creature snagging me.

I guess the universe doesn't want me to get this game bc I tried to preorder it from Amazon and its sold out

can you still change your costume/dye it different colors?

can you make an all black or dark blue outfit?

also, are there any ravens or crows in the game? cuz.....y'know.....pirates and stuff......lol

I guess since Edward wasn't formally trained like Ezio and Connor, it throws me off. But aside from all that. The game is magnificent, love the exploration. So much to do.

Pat already answered these questions correctly, but I just want to say the lack of a parrot perched on my shoulder squawking "PIECES O' EIGHT!" makes me a sad pirate indeed, arrrr. :csad:

So I'm enjoying it so far. Not bad for a free game. :woot: Hurr.

Although I think my crew is going to mutiny in a bit because I keep giving orders to put up then bring down the sails every few seconds when navigating.

I do the same thing when sailing. I guess the crew is used to it. I still want to go inside the ship. Like in the previous game. Haytham could mingle with the crew and play games. I know we get a captains quarters but I wanted to go inside like I just mentioned in ACIII. Maybe have a reason to have a crew at all. I never kept much track of my total crew. Doesn't seem to matter. I always get more from various things. When boarding I shoot barrels even if my crew was around. They died as well as my targets. No real consequence.

Just ordered this for the PS4 (off of Amazon, it wasn't sold out for me). This is going to be the only disc I get at launch.

The PS4 version!? :csad:
yeah it was the PS4 version, which came back in stock yesterday so I preordred it. Funny bc this is the game I said I had no interest in getting, yet it will be a launch title for me. I will add that Im getting It free, which is why Im taking it and not paying anything for it, makes it easier to swallow, if I don't like it. The PS4 launch lineup is really slim pickings and this is the closest thing to the third person action genre that I crave

I'm not very far in the game yet so all the interaction between me and him has been making him second in command and him telling me to kick the British in the pants.
