Once I started getting multiple CVEs in 12.2, I decided to not even try SO. Only thing I'm losing in CVEs doing 12.2 is energy, not UIso.

It appears that the recent surge of CVE is due to the game trying to patch itself against PVP cheaters. Here's the message from the devs:

Many of you have expressed concerns regarding a recent increase in combat validation errors. We would like to assure you that we are aware that this is a problem for players, and are actively working to fix this issue.

As some of you have noted in the forums, combat validation errors are a side effect of us tightening the belt down on players using hacks or cheats to exploit our game. We are closing vulnerabilities which will soon improve the game experience and assure PvP tournaments are fair. Rest assured that players who cheat or exploit the game will no longer be allowed to play and degrade the experience for honest players.

For those players experiencing the issue, we apologize for the inconvenience while we finish up these fixes. We truly greatly appreciate your continued support as we continue to improve Marvel: Avengers Alliance.

I'm fine with that explanation. I didn't really lose all that much besides about 100 energy. Hopefully it makes PVP a little better.

Been busy doing epic runs on Mission 2 of SO9. Really want that 2nd Amendment weapon. I figure I have about 9 more runs to get it if I just get my daily average of around 80 UIso from gifts and ally maps.

Luckily, I was able to get Second Amendment yesterday. Now I'm looking forward to Lasercutter which is the LE weapon that will be enhancing Second Amendment when it comes out. As a big Iron Man fan, I really want the entire set but getting Ram's Horn from the daily roulette will be tough.

I got the Ram's Horn about a week ago so that's why I'm trying extra hard for the 2nd Amendment. I have 138 gold saved so getting the Lasercutter is no problem. I just don't want to end up with only 3 pieces and not get the full effects of the weapons.

Hopefully both of us will complete the Stark Tech set. But after playing so many Spec Ops and spun so many roulette wheels, I know the odds are usually against you, and having had to respin to obtain Hot Shot at a very steep cost of gold I really have no wish to do it again for Ram's Horn.

I never respin now after spending over 30 gold in a previous SO and not getting the weapon until finally receiving it from the lockboxes.

I did it for Hot Shot because I didn't get it in Spec Ops 4, and I have the other 3 items from the set. It was also a few days before the PVP season ended and I didn't think I could've gotten it in the roulette. Btw, are you guys 5-starring Spec Ops or going for a drop? I really want the Freezer Gun so I'm running M2 over and over, even though I already had it 5-starred awhile ago. Made another run today but sadly I still don't have it yet.

I've 5-starred M2 long ago so I'm just running it for the 2nd Amendment, not even thinking about the others since I can easily get CP from 12.2. I got the Freezer Gun after my first or second run through and have been using it ever since.

About time the new PVP season arrives! Seems to me that Juggy might be alot harder to get than Omega Sentinel, though.

Considering Juggy lock boxes will only be available through PVP, PVP-related sidetasks, and gold, I think we won't see as many people getting him. This seems like a way for PD to get more players to care about PVP.

Also, surprised they didn't put a timer for when Shatterstar would be available for CP since they've done that for just about everyone else.

Unfortunately, you can only get a maximum of 100 Lockboxes from doing 5 battles a day, and I don't think it is enough to get all 8 covers this way. I hope there will be side tasks to complete for more LCs, otherwise we have to hope to win some more from the PVP roulette.

Started PVP last night...won the first fight with no issue (error), did 3 in a row after that won them and each of those had an error and then didn't count, and of course the one I lose after that no error.

Looks like Juggernaut is tailor-made to defeat Emma Frost, since he is immune to both stun and psychic attacks.

New hero: Thundra as a 90 CP Bruiser. Kind of random but I'll still get her since she'll likely be needed for the next SO.

Looking at all these obscure and lesser known heroes and villains, makes me wonder about more recognizable ones, like Venom or Moon Knight.

Seems like they're holding out the bigger names for PVP and SO. Most of the ones released initially for CP have been lower-tier heroes.

You should report the cheaters.

Btw, I'm using a team with Magneto and Rescue and so far they are a good team that is alot of fun to play, albeit with more weaknesses than my old BSQS/EF team.

Regarding these, there should be limitations in PVP.
For example, a guy just stunned my entire team in one move. I basically spent two rounds watching him beating my team while I could do nothing.

There should be a limit of a max of two stuns in a row, so we can try to fight back and react in any way possible.
