Avengers Alliance - Part 5

Well finished the final Destroyer task to get 25 lockboxes. Did the five battles today to get 5 more so had a total of 30.

Got the second to last cover after using 20 to fill the bar up entirely.

Then got the last cover with the other 10 on the first try. Filling up one whole bar only to get the next cover on the first try. At least it's karmic.

Now to level up the ole Destroyer.


Also my new pvp offense team has been doing really well. Wonder if I should actually try and go for Angela, haven't lost a battle with it yet. My agent with cosmic cube, weather control device, savage spear, and scroll of ahcahzk(haven't really used that at all though) and Blaster Transian Scarlet Witch and Tac Pestilence Beast. I tend to be able to just debuff everyone into death and use my and Wanda's healing abilities to keep my team alive.

I'm in Adamantium, where I'm winning about 92% of my offensive battles and 24% of my defensive battles. I'm still using the same team I've used for the past 4-5 tournaments in HA Iron Fist, Havok, and Tac Agent using Cosmic Cube, Signpost, Custom Only For Killing, and Rune of Resolve. I can heal with 2 of my heroes, apply exhausted to the numerous Tacticians that people use, and deal massive damage with all 3 heroes. The teams that give me the most problem are those using Invincible Woman/Molly Hayes and QS/Psylocke with Agent having the Mystic weapon that prevents debuffs.

Threw open all my lockboxes, didn't get either Enchantress or Destroyer. Filled up her bonus bar tho, so there's that. And there's a couple days left to get unbreakable lockboxes, I only need 1 more cover. I might place Gold league if I'm lucky.

There are lots of characters who should be in certain categories who aren't. The day before, I think it was gods only or Asgardians only, and Enchantress wasn't included. And really, everyone's got a bit of red in their ledger. So did you finish the daily mission yesterday?

Nah, I gave up. A couple more tries, maybe with Hawkeye, and I might've gotten lucky, but I was so over it by then.

Beat the Vision HB this afternoon on my first try of the day. Followed the strategy and was able to pick them off one by one.

My reward: Proficient Iso-8 Crystal

I would think the next SO would tie in with Avengers: Age of Ultron. No clue who they'd have as a tie-in hero or Lock Box hero.

What if the next SO doesn't tie in with Age of Ultron but with Daredevil instead? That would actually give them more leeway to have a different hero too, since probably nearly all the Avengers have been done. AOU comes out in May anyway in the US, whereas DD comes out in April.

Don't know who they could give us for a DD-related SO though. I wouldn't mind seeing Gladiator showing up. I wish I could somehow get Elektra though, but there seems no way for that since she's expired. I don't really see Night Nurse being a potential character.

Hmm, Daredevil. Interesting. For a DD-related SO, I'd go with Echo/Ronin as the prize character.

And really, the "Vision of the Future" SO from 2 years ago is pretty much everything an Age of Ultron SO would be, right down to the Ultron Group Boss.

The only character I could see related to Ultron would be Jocasta as the SO hero. She's not in the movie, but maybe it won't tie in exactly to the movie but more to the comics. Any other Avenger would just be rather random (eg if they had Mantis or Moondragon).

I think someone asked them about AoS and Daisy and they said they had no plans for anything like that and they plan so far ahead it would mean they have nothing planned for it for a year or so.

They have done a SO tie-in for every MCU movie since Iron Man 3 tho. I have no clue who they'd tie in for Age of Ultron, but Ant-Man should be easy, as they can give us Scott Lang and maybe a Yellow Jacket alt for Pym.

Have they toned down the Stark Industries PDW Elite weapon that was the boss prize for one of the Chapter 8 missions? It doesn't seem quite as powerful anymore. Before it was insanely powerful but now it seems to do less damage.

I'm guessing we'll get Scott Lang as Ant-Man, maybe an Ant-Man alt for Hank too. Yellow Jacket will probably be a villain.

Wasp... I dunno if we'll be getting any alts for her.

They toned down all the weapons that seemed a bit too powerful and put them more in line with every other chapter's gear.

Also of all the Netflix shows Jessica Jones is the only hero not in the game already, so we may get her as the Defenders tie in.

I agree! I just came in after tonight's episode to say this. I'm surprised we don't have Quake in here yet. And I hope we can still get her even if they don't plan on doing an AOS-themed spec ops. Just give us the character in another way.

I liked the recent SO, very happy to have BRB and Enchantress (and I'm close to getting Destroyer, although I may have to drop some gold to get the last few lockboxes I need)

I'm up around 2000 so it's more about maintenance now. I think I lost about 250 points yesterday from attacks and about 3-4 offensive losses. I should be able to maintain Adamantium as long as I get a few fights in here and there.

That happened to me a while ago. Decided not to play it ever again, and i've never looked back. It just isnt worth my trouble at all.

2000 is what I try to maintain as well.

You know what, I'm going for it. I'm going to honestly try for Angela this time. Haven't lost with my new offensive team yet. My new defensive seems to be holding. I've got a few thousands pvp energy things. Might as well go all out for her.
