So will I. Then I'll get Black Panther and finish this SO.

Doesn't Black Panther cost more than 90 CP? I thought he's at least 135.

Do you have Kitty Pryde yet?

I've opened 80 boxes now. 6 covers and 2 duplicates.

And now I'm nowhere near 90CPs. I'll be glad when I even get 9. :o

Yes, Panther costs 90 CP, he's a regular expansion hero. Yes, I know all about 12.2 and have been playing it a lot.

Black Panther can take quite a lot of turns. And he can break through that incorporeality by one of those U-Foes whose name I forget.

Sent off my last hero needing LVL 15 training (A-Bomb) about an hour ago. Training bays will be empty for a bit until I get Shocker and Cloak and Dagger.

That's kinda depressing. I should have enough silver to get Electro, Misty Knight and Cammi to 13 when my bays open back up, but that's it. Have 23 heroes who need to go from 13 to 14, So that's 11.5 Million silver alone. :csad:

Maybe we will get another group boss soon.

I have tons of heroes still to go from 12 to 13 or 13 to 14, and the odd few from 14 to 15. I don't know how there's enough silver to train all these heroes.

Not to make you feel anymore depressed, but I'm still over 100 million silver and with very little to spend it on until we get more heroes, it'll continue growing.

Where did you get all that silver from?

And how many CPs do you have?

I am always short of resources. If I trained 2-3 heroes around level 14 I would completely run out of silver.

And currently I only have about 20 CPs.

I got around 80 million from the bug that occurred during the Thor: TDW tie-in SO where you could sell the potion consumable for more than you bought it for. Before they fixed the glitch, I think you could buy one for like 200 but sell it for like 1000.

As for CP, I have a total of around 3960, mainly because there hasn't been a lot to buy with CP and the gifts from the 4th anniversary really added to the total.

Given the comments from the devs on Avengers Alliance 2 not having any mutants in the future... anyone know why some games Marvel makes promote mutant characters and others it doesn't? I mean this 'ban' seems rather arbitrary when you look at Marvel Heroes or Marvel Contest of Champions have tons of mutant characters and Fox owned characters playable and advertised openly, all still doing that, then other games like this they act like there is some edict that says they can't. I mean if there is a ban it either applies to all it applies to none, you can't have it both ways.

(yes I'm sure legally you can have it both ways, but that's dumb so I won't believe it cause I don't accept dumb things as legal cause they are dumb)

At any rate apparently Karven is coming soon... AND... we are getting a new Covert Ops HERO soon.

sorry missed this

I remember putting up the video of the former head of gazillion david brevick stated that gaz's games work for marvel Enteritaiment them selves

as stated here

Marvel has different contracts with others some of which Disney isn't involved in & gaz isn't a part of the Disney deal/contract
they went strait to Marvel the big D wasn't mentioned. it seems Disney is only there for financial support and to help put things out there. There were few games that were put out by Disney but with this one it seems they aren't the ones the these particular dev's answer to.

These guys are the same as gazillion they answer to Marvel.

there are some certain dev's studio's the head strait to Marvel to ask them permission to use their characters those videos show the people/ dev studio head's say those words them selves. All via you tube. disney has some control but not over everything marvel game wise

and it was stated most recently to the people from EPN.tv on video that the people of contest champions work for marvel them selves, while the people of Disney infinity are contracted with Disney.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds – Let’s Play with the Developers

The all-new Marvel Battlegrounds play set has arrived for Disney Infinity 3.0, giving players a new 4-player arena combat mode.
Vic heads to developer United Front Games to try it out with three of the people who made it: design director

source:EPN.tv

most of the current games are contracted by different parts

Marvel Entertaiment games division has
marvel heroes: owned and run by Gaz
super hero squad:
owned and run by Gaz

marvel contest of champion's

there's also marvel future fight but they are in an asian country and for right now seem to be fallowing an agenda from Joe Q with the movie and tv characters promote the avengers and every other marvel character

while the former three above are taking looks and personality from the comic's for the characters being show in our movies tv show and animated series currently.

Disney has
it has the playdium games
avengers alliance game is acting similarly to marvel heroes

the ones below are under the joe Q agenda to promote mostly the

Marvel
avengers alliance 2

Disney infinity

and avengers academy

while marvel is owned Disney they are allowed to still act independently from them and make contracts with video game dev's studios and publishers

Disney also had this deal with some anime studios when they added Naruto to their xd channel and that was a violent(well as it wold allow) series before it ended recently.

the point is they all aren't neatly all in one place and have the same one set rule due to these studio's being contracted to between both Disney and marvel.

Michael Bitton : Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 Launch Impressions

Posted Apr 05, 2016 by Michael Bitton

Late last year we spotlighted Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2, the sequel to Disney’s social/mobile game, Marvel: Avengers Alliance. The game was in limited release at the time, but we couldn’t wait to jump in and check it out. Fast forward a couple months later and the game is now available worldwide. How does it stack up? Read on to find out!
Read more of Michael Bitton's Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 Launch Impressions.
For anyone learning about the game for the first time, Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 is a game where you collect various Marvel heroes and villains, assemble a team, and tackle a variety of story-driven pieces of content and even do some PvP (sort of, you fight the enemy’s AI controlled teams). The gameplay is turn-based (think Pokémon) and characters come in a couple of different archetypes (Blasters, Scrappers, Bruisers, and so on). Each archetype has its own counter archetype, so proper team composition is key.

One particularly engaging difference between the sequel and its predecessor is in how players can customize each character’s skill loadout. This enables you to create synergistic team compositions, not only in the characters you’re bringing, but also in how their particular selected skills complement one another as part of an overall strategy. Again, you can learn more about the basics in our earlier piece.
I’m glad to report that all these months later and I’m still hooked on the game. Truthfully, I expected the game to go live within a month or so after our initial coverage, so I found myself a bit concerned as each month passed without a worldwide release or any information along those lines, but thankfully everyone can now jump into the game and play. There are a couple of caveats, though. For whatever reason, Disney decided to launch worldwide on a patch that has been particularly buggy in my experience. For example, your graphics quality may be stuck on lower settings depending on the platform you’re playing on, and crashes seem to be more frequent than usual. Just some fair warning if you do decide to jump in soon.

Bugs aside, the game has improved considerably over the last few months. Disney has taken the time to polish things and tune the balance of the experience overall, though there is still much work to be done. The difficulty of content ramps up a lot smoother now and figuring out where different paths lead in mission chapters is far more intuitive as well.

There’s been a small injection of new content, too. The game’s first Spec Ops (limited time challenges) went live in March and focused on the MCU version of Ant-Man. Spec Ops are significantly more approachable in MAA2 than they were in the previous title. For one, tasks aren’t locked out by requiring you to have specific heroes (though certain optional objectives can require you to have certain types of heroes). And while Spec Ops are limited in availability, it’s possible to acquire “archive keys” to use to permanently unlock the content even after it has expired. Of course, if you manage to complete the Spec Ops while it’s live, you’ll have the content immediately unlocked for you forever.

One thing I am curious about is how players will unlock the heroes rewarded for past PvP seasons. If you’re just starting out now, you’re basically three PvP seasons behind those who were playing during limited release. This means that characters like Angela, Heimdall, and Miles Morales Spider-Man aren’t currently available. Hopefully Disney has plans to make these characters obtainable somehow for all the new players.

Despite how much I enjoy the game, I do still have some gripes. Right now, the most frustrating aspects of the game consist of a number of quality of life issues. As we mentioned earlier, there are still plenty of bugs to be dealt with and they can be quite annoying. Crashes or freezes when loading into content probably being the worst offenders here. It’s no fun spending 50 energy tackling an elite boss only for the game to freeze at the reward screen and then realizing you need to spend another 50 energy to repeat the fight from the beginning. The same goes for Scouting and PvP. Hopefully these are a top priority.

Another pain point is the store. There are a couple of things I’d love to be able to buy and open in batches, particularly Unstable Power Cells. Opening these things one by one is a real pain in the rear. The game’s inventory is also incredibly cramped at 100 slots. Disney’s been pretty good about monetization so far, but if you’re looking for an easy win, let me give you money to expand my maximum inventory size.

Having to clear out some room in my ISO inventory every other fight has become quite tiresome.

Also, let me purchase Legendary Power Cells. If you disappear from the game for a couple of weeks, you’ll return to a Legendary Power Cell in your mail that guarantees you a new hero unlock. 25G for the Superior Power Cell just feels like a raw deal right now and I’ll usually just save the gold for more rewarding (but less exciting) purchases, like refilling my Scouting or PvP mission energy. Most of the time Superior Power cells award new abilities or duplicates (which then get converted into Shield Points). I’d shell out some more gold per cell for a guaranteed hero unlock. With no other means to unlock new heroes, it’s likely to become exceptionally frustrating for players seeking to snag a particular pick as the game’s roster balloons over time. Get ahead of the issue and give people the option to spend a bit more to complete their collections.
Finally, I hope to see some new hero diversity sooner rather than later. PvP and Spec Ops exclusives aside, the last batch of heroes to be added to the game were Age of Ultron versions of the existing Avengers we have in the game. I don’t mind these versions of the characters making it onto the roster, but I’d love to see basic versions of characters that aren’t represented at all in the game added first. With Civil War coming next month, I worry that the next set of characters will be Civil War versions of the same Avengers we have now. Let’s spice it up a little!
Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 is available worldwide on iOS and Android.

7 covers and 2 duplicates after 90 LBs opened. I'm guaranteed Shocker in 80 LBs so I'm not worried one bit.

6 covers, 2 duplicates so far. Haven't been lucky with the roulette.

routlette has been very kind. Get 10 lockboxes almost every other time. and 5 almost everytime i only have 5 won.

Not much luck on the roulette. When are the lockbox tasks meant to happen this week? Is it Friday?

The 2nd task was up for me when I did it today. That was about 2 hours ago though. Seems like it is a Wednesday to Tuesday schedule for this one.

Mine was up when I did the daily mission at 2 AM earlier today so it should likely be up for most people.

Going 'Full Thanos' in Marvel Avengers Alliance 2 [Interview]
Ahead of the full release of Marvel Avengers Alliance 2, ComicsAlliance spoke with creative director Scott Rudi and producer Justin Woods about what to expect.

CA: It’s been a while since even the original Avengers Alliance has seen a member of the X-Men added. Any chance Avengers Alliance 2 will see those mutants brought back into the fold?

JW: Never say never, but there aren’t any on the road map right now.

SR: That being said, we’re going to have a really huge roster of strong characters. We’re really excited about the emergence of the Inhumans. It’s exciting for storytelling but also the Inhumans are almost tailor-made for video games.

These guys have such random and crazy powers, and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into them. There are so many different storylines, like the upcoming Civil War II, we can’t wait to tell that story. One day it’d be great to do an Infinity story. The wealth of material Marvel has for us is like being a kid in a candy store.

JW: Another exciting thing about our roster is we have playable characters that haven’t been seen yet in MAA. We have characters like Electro and MODOK and Nebula. Villains are going to play a really big role in our roster down the road. You’re going to see a lot more playable villains in MAA2 than you did in the first game. Rather than just being customized versions of their boss battles, they’re hand-tailored to be playable from the beginning. There’s going to be a very rich villain roster down the road as well. That’s going to be something that stands Avengers Alliance 2 apart from other games.

I recruited Shocker today with my best ever record: 100 boxes with only 2 duplicates for the entire thing. And I still have another 26 boxes left over.

Thought I'd get Shocker after getting enough LBs from the daily 5/roulette and completing the LB task but instead got 4 duplicates. That makes it 7 covers and 6 duplicates. I'm getting in the next 4 10x openings so it's just a minor inconvenience. I likely will have to wait until either tomorrow or Saturday before I get enough to do another 10x opening.

The Deathlocket CO is up now. What's annoying is that you have to collect 20 of those VK Machines, but you can only get 1 of them from each Daily Mission. It doesn't seem that they're actually dropping but only something you can collect at the end. They should've given more. And only 2 dropped from the first sim task, but none from the other two.

I got to the 3rd sim task against Madame Masque but got killed by her. Her attacks increase both in frequency and ferocity if she hits you with compulsion in the first place. I'm not sure how to counter that yet and how to beat her.

Also Kraven is coming later today.
