World Avengers Assemble! Animated Show - Part 1

Designs don't look that much better

IMO, they do look better than AA designs, but that's just my opinion.

Anyway, gokujin compared a video game cutscene, those probably have a bigger budget for one cutscene than people making a show have for making one episode
When it comes to CGI cut scenes, you are right. However, the traditional cel animated cut scenes from that video game didn't seem any more expensive than the animation from THE LEGEND OF KORRA.

What were the average ratings EMH used to draw?

I'm sure Loeb and Quesadilla will put THEIR positive bulls**t spin on AA's ratings...

and no doubt, with TVO RUSHING to their defense, as he usually does... :o

always so laughably predictable...

I prefer Earths mightiest heroes.

I'm getting tired of all the quality shows being cancelled and being replaced with garbage....like Teen Titans Go replacing Young Justice WTF??

I think Young Justice is at fault for that, for an airing schedule that was just over the place. But it really is disappointing that many great cartoons get canceled, only to be replaced by cartoons of lesser quality. Spectacular Spider-Man, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Green Lantern, Young Justice... *sigh*

guess s**t appeals to the mindless masses and they're eager and willing to eat and eat hearty... :o

Thanks for posting the link. HOLY CRAP, this just proves that viewers found AA less appealing than A;EMH. And for those of you who don't believe us, here is the ratings info for A:EMH (as well as USM) from last year.

  • Marvel’s “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” ranked as the network’s #1 animated series of 2012 in Total Viewers (847,000), with “Ultimate Spider-Man” #1 in Boys 2-11 (210,000/1.0 rating), Boys 6-14 (204,000/1.1 rating), Boys 6-11 (153,000/1.2 rating) and Boys 9-14 (131,000/1.1 rating).

good ratings doesn't mean good quality, just a lot of bad taste out there willing to accept s**t......

Well that all depends on what ratings for which show that you thought I was talking about. For the record, I was saying that the fact that A:EMH got higher ratings than the premier of AA, is proof that the masses sometimes supports/watches/like quality shows (quality in this case being A:EMH).

good quality = Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes...

s**t quality so far = Avengers Assemble

guess I read or misinterpreted wrongly your earlier post...

So many snarky comments I'd love to make. So little time.

Marvel nearly sacred me with it's animation quality until this pic, doesn't this look better

Jeez. Tony must be tiny when out of the suit.

I got rid of the first arc
Not looking forward to any more episodes of this
At the very least it's tolerable, unlike that Titans show

Ultimate Spider-Man scored higher ratings in the key demos that Disney XD is aimed at.

The rating breakdowns don't show the key demo scores for Avengers Assemble. The data being shown doesn't tell the whole story.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes might've drawn the biggest total but that was in male adults 18-49. Sorry but that's not the audience Disney XD wants. They are aiming at younger males with their shows.

Plus ratings are not as important as toy and merchandise sales, or as I see fans have already failed to learn that from

It's so nice to hear how Disney XD doesn't care about girls, I know I watch quite a bit and I'm sure others do as well...

So much of children's nowadays with main female characters are so stupid and don't even have that positive of a message whereas at least AA has Black Widow and USM has Aunt May and White Tiger...I wish Black Widow would be on an episode of it...but they're all positive female role models.

Besides, all those females who made Avengers reach a billion and a half? They were girls once and many have girls of their own who would also love programming. I've even had customers complain about the lack of female characters in merchandise.

At least Clark Gregg and Joss Whedon have both bought up this complaint and how they have to work around it for their daughters.

Yep, toys are where it counts and there is saturation in some key areas like Iron Man's various forms, Thor's various forms and the Amazing Spider-Man. You either have to wait for kids to grow older or break their previous toys or come up with something more unique like Falcon.
