World Avengers cartoon - Part 5

It's no use "supporting" the show by watching it on TV. It's over. Might as well avoid watching the block altogether.

just watched the new avengers epidsode. That one episode gave more respect to Spider-man then he has ever had as part of any of Bendis Avengers teams.

Yeah i just saw that episode it was my favorite so far!! Plus Wolverine and Spidey :awesome:

Another confirmation that this show is done for. Also another confirmation that marveltvnews site has been right all along, while the bleedingcool article has been proven BS

Told you so guys

I think we all owe an appology to marveltvnews, especially those who bashed the site after the bleedingcool article

The recent marvel announcement regarding Avengers assemble being on SDCC also confirms what the site said a month ago:

I will miss this show to no end. And still hope for a season 2 bluray release

there are just some out there who are just too proud, too vain and too unwilling to ever admit that they might possibly have been wrong...

it's just the nature of the beast and the way of the world, sad to say...

A website doesn't deserve an apology.

Wow the show is gone after this season. Welcome to last year.

Still no mention of X-Men, it would be cool if it was a surprise.

Well there is still comic con to reveal that. Unless its not past just talk stage.

While I've long accepted that the show is done, it seems odd to me that they'd market something as "The Final Season" when it only had 2. Also, that's promo art from season 1.

Not any different for shows that end even after one season to be labeled final season/complete series.

bored, they are marketing it as the end of the show because they are moving onto to a new one.

This a spoiled brat question that's been plaguing me for a few weeks now, but does anyone have or know where I can get "Live Kree or Die" and "Avengers Assemble" at HQ? All I keep running into from the outback is 640 quality (2 versions) and as much as I appreciate it, it's just too pixelated and murky to enjoy on a TV over 40 inches.

Usually the past 50 episodes ALL came out with better and more vibrant 720 versions right after the 640 was pre-released from the Aussie website. But for some reason "LKoD" and "AA" hasn't followed that trend and it's stuck at the lower quality???

Thanks guys, PM if you would!?

So the dvd release co-insides with the movie release Sept 25th nice .

I am aware that they are moving on to a new one, as I do not live under a rock. That particular image just feels kind of off to me.

Makes sense to me. Show has a pretty extended season anyway for an animated show.

Spectacular Spidey and now Avengers..

Both good shows to be sure. But Avengers:EMH actually ended at a place where it's concievable the show had a good run---52 Episodes.

But Spectacular Spider-Man ended on a completely poor note. Seriously....I've been watching reruns and it's sad they never got at least a 3rd season.

That's not suppose to be normal, a series should last for 7 to 10 seasons at least.

Very few animated shows actually manage that. Not every animated show can be the Simpsons which will last until the end of all eternity.

Ya the tv landscape has changed a lot in the past few yrs compared to say the 70s-90s where shows could last a decade or so. Most barely get one season maybe two or three if they are lucky. And animation has a tougher time then say live action tv.

out of all the animated series put out by Marvel since the 90's, only X-Men and Spider-Man had five seasons...

all the others had either one or two seasons, maybe three...

there hasn't been a lengthy run of a Marvel animated series since around 1998...

DC's had about five seasons of BTAS, three seasons of Superman TAS and five seasons combined of JL/JLU...

face it, when it comes to quality animateds, DC wins hands down... until they get a better creative force going for them, Marvel will always be second best in the animated field...
