World Avengers cartoon - Part 5

I have to say that while I love Phil LaMarr (who plays Jarvis), the man cannot pull off an English accent to save his life.

"The Deadliest Man Alive" is my favorite eppy of the series so far. Part of it was simply seeing Hulk kicking the living snot out of all the other Avengers. But this one was full of payoff moments, too.

We saw Cap's undying loyalty to his friends break through the Hulk's cynic attitude. Iron Man outsmarted General Ross and we got to see Rulk's identity revealed (most comic readers already knew, but the Avengers reaction was priceless) on the show.

My favorite line came when the Avengers were trying to capture Hulk:

Wasp: "Wait a minute, are we hurting him."

Hawkeye: "Are you kidding?"

Didn't you not see the was something wrong with hawkeye and the hulk?

I gather he was trying to copy Paul Bettany, Just like Eric Loomis voice sounds very similar to RDJ's voice.

FINALLY got the Final EMH season dvd. THAT was a cool season, but I wasn't aware Warlock was part of GOTG.
MAN the Thor story had better continue in Assmbled. They left the Surtur story all open. It's like John Byrne got to it.

That will be a true testament to if this Avengers Assemble will really be a continuation.

I know right, that would be great if they do continue the Surtur ark.

I was VERY impressed with the look of those Realted stories and not just because of BRB. lol

But only half the final season, ending at "Secret Invasion". There's still another half that needs to be released, which would start with "Along Came A Spider". Just saying.

Agreed. Surtur is too epic a story to be left unfinished.

I doubt it, the most likely outcome would be that it would be released on blu-ray probably around Avengers 2.

Nevertheless I'm not buying the DVDs/Blus until we get a complete season release.

It would cause me to like the show better if its indeed a continuation. I mean in the second season they do all this cool stuff relating to the cosmic characters and then throw Beta Ray Bill and Surtur in there then its cancelled?! :(

Its not as bad as the epic cliffhangers we got at the end of Wolverine and the X men and Spectacular Spiderman.

True, man I'm still sad about those shows cancellations. :(

Ultimate Spider-Man is what replaced SSM.

Yeah but thankfully the main guy at the Wolverine and the Xmen Facebook page has the script for a couple of season 2 episodes. Its better than nothing

I still say Disney needs to put some of the Marvel stuff on FREE tv and not cable for a larger audience.

Pretty disappointing that we only got two seasons of this show.

Not really since we got 2 seasons of 52 episodes.

Justice League was only 2 seasons of 52 episodes before it became JLU.

Superman: The Animated Series had 3 seasons of 54 episodes.

Batman Beyond had 3 seasons of 52 episodes

X-men Evolution had 4 seasons of 52 episodes

Looks like the series hit a pretty good number compared to similar super hero action shows.

To the cast and crew of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, thank you! This was the great show and the Avengers show I'd always wanted to see. Thanks for a fantastic series and all the amazing work you put in.

my sentiments exactly

I finally watched the "Avengers Assemble!" episode, and totally forgot that it was the final one, until afterwards. This series was really great, and had the potential to be even better if it was given a real chance to shine.

I hope I can catch some this coming week up north
