Awaiting Venom

I dont know about all you guys, but I'm just biding my time before they show the first images of Venom.. I am carrying alot of apprehension, but at the same time impatience as well!
What about you guys? I mean, I dont care what I see from the Spiderman Developements right now. I feel like I'm holdin my breath till I see Venom really thats the thiing that I think many people are going to be waiting for. Till then I'll hold my judgment on the movie... Do ya'll feel the same?

That will be a watershed moment for SM3. I'm wondering when that will be, IF at all. Still not buying that Venom will be in SM3, other than a cliffhanger ending. Comic-Con? Probably Harry as GG2 pics/footage? Dare we wonder/hope for Venom IF he is in fact in SM3?

And when it is... it will set off a Firestorm like no one has seen since the days of Mech vs. Organics. You'll either LOVE IT or HATE IT I think... I doubt there will be much if any middle ground.

I hope it's only Brock in SM3, with a cliffhanger ending hinting at Venom. Venom is too good of a story to be regulated to what is basically a cameo appearance... IF the rumors are true.

Thing is, I dont want to wait till Venom comes out in SM4.. That's a long ways from now. God knows what would happen. Maybe the Stock Market would crash or something! I wanna see Venom now!!!! The special effects would do him justice..
But I'm agree though with you, i think he might be a dissapointment. I'm willing to take that chance!!

Guys.......Venom is going to be in SM3, ok. Its been given to much publicity for him not to be. HELL, at this point Raimi would probobly put him in simply beacuse of all the hype if he hadn't already decided to. So it is going to happen, and it is going to be good because Raimi is a great director, and I dare anyone to disagre and tell me that the first two films were trash. I will personaly bleed through the ears if anyone can HONESTLY tell me that the first two films were bad. Just suck it up, and watch it when it comes out, and then if you don't like it ***** then. But stop clinging onto hope that Venom won't be seen, because it WILL hapen.

I doubt there will be any last minute changes. filming is done in a couple days.

in 2 months we will see Venom. I got a horrible feeling about storywise as well as looks myself.

That would be great! Kind of like the surprise of Jean dying at the end of X2! Have the very last shot be of him coming out of the darkness, all slavering fangs and tongue!

Cant wait to know if hes in the movie... My point is that the first time I saw VENOM (back in 1994 - Maximum Carnage), is the day I started to read comic book, then I started drawing, then I got hired as an illustrator, then I started my own business and on and on. I didnt follow each and every comic with him in it, but still, it made me discover the "geek" world . I hope he will look good as he does in comics... BTW, im buildinng a website for a toy store and they are suppose to reveive their 2007 catalogue later this year, so im sure we will see a preview of Venom (action figure) this year.

I feel the same way.... But I dont know. They really have a thing about trying to make the charectors look "Real". But they did a cool job on spiderman, he doenst look ""REAL"".. Doc Ock looked semi real. Goblin didnt. and the only reason they messed up on hiim was cause the Special Effects werent capable of maintaining the Traditional Goblin suit. If there is a Goblin in this one. Trust me it isnt going to be the Power Ranger thing we saw. They will have him more sophisticated.
Venom has to be more along the lines of the Comic. The reason I have my trepidations is that there are so many versions of Venom in the comic books. I didnt even like many of them! So, how would any of us know which version of Venom are they going to show? I truly hope it aint the one with his tongue hanging 5 feet in front of his face. I hope he could speak, not RRAAAAARRR! kind of thing. But whatever.

I dont care if they said that he was developed from Cancer Cells, or Pooped out of the back of a Garbage Pail kids trash can.. As long as when he touches down to Earth, or turns into the crazy Monster he is... He will look KICK ASS. And Kick Spideys ass alittle while. I hope they maintain his complicated charector.. Venom's smart, speaks, protects innocents. He has a sense of right and wrong. Lucky for Spiderman that was the case. 'cause Spidey had his hands full as it was just running from Venom. They shouldnt loose that understanding. That's what made Venom an anti-hero (like Wolverine/ Punisher).
He's like a Superhero, who happens to want more than anything to Eat Spiderman's brains! That's a SICK concept!!

I think we will see a pic of venom at comic-con (crosses fingers). But even if they don't show him in the trailer and keep him just for the movie there will probably still be a pic that shows up here sooner or later.

What I don't get is why there is this big secret around Topher's character. Why does it matter if people knows he is Brock or not? We know who's playing all the other characters accept for him. That's kinda weird don't you think?

Everyone probably knows that Sam Raimi stated that he is using a new thing that will blow people away just like the CGI concept, did anyone try to think maybe he would use that for venom?
