I hear what you mean, Doc.
This Burtonite/Nolanite crap really has to stop...warring sides of Batman fans, what kind of s**t is that?
My name is CFE...I'm a fan of BATMAN, the character created by Bob Kane and developed by Bill Finger in 1939 and expanded and continued by the some of the most talented band of writers, artists, directors, producers, actors, and creative persons over the last nearly 70 years. I find each and every installment in Batman's non-comic film and TV career to have value, be equal and hold a special place in the history of this amazing multi-dimensional character and thank heaven that unlike Spider-Man or Superman or the X-Men, Batman has been give the gift of one of the most diverse histories in all of comic books.
Everybody who complains about any given factor in that history needs to put a sock in it and be happy our character, unlike other people's favorites around the Hype, is so enduring and obviously so well loved around the world for his adventures to continue thrilling us from generation to generation without fail.
We're fans of, arguably, the most popular character in the comic book universe. I see no reason whatsoever to complain about anything created through Batman from 1939 to now.
I have my Batman. Kevin has his Batman, Captain Clown, Socko, Doc, GoogleMe, Joker...they all have their Batman's.
I'm here to be a fan of Batman in general, to be a fan of everyone's Batman...Burton's, Schumacher's, Timm's whatever...
Let's just stop picking sides and appreciate the longevity of Batman as a whole.
