For spending $100 on the CE, you should get that guide for free.

By the way, the CE's packaging for the game is a simple cardboard sleeve, nothing plastic. Confirmed by that friend of mine that works at GameStop I mentioned earlier in this thread. :P Almost all stores have the game already, he just opened his CE and noticed it.

He also said the batarang is pretty shoddy looking. =/

That said, Batman is not far off from XO:W(in the sense that the gameplay focuses on combat. Admittingly, Batman has more "toys"). However, Wolverine got a 7.8 from IGN. If you were a Wolverine fan, -this- would be the best superhero game. Spider-man(PSX) got a 9.0. Ultimate alliance got 8.2. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 got a 9.3.

This game is not akin to Wolverine Origins.
You're not even correct in claiming this game focuses on combat. It's more about scheming around.

Wolverine was a movie tie in that followed the plot of the movie.
It's only merit is combat, which i'm quite positive it did better than arkham asylum, in spades.

It was hack and slash. You walk into a room. Without any strategy. You kill everything in it. Without taking any damage, because unless you're a colossal screw-up you can be shot as many times as it takes to wipe out a room, while regenerating.

Arkham Asylum takes at least a little bit of strategy as a lot of the game revolves around scheming in the shadows. Because if you're seen, you're shot to death relatively quickly. That coupled with an original story that's not piggybacking a movie release, and you've got a solid game.

I have no idea whether the game is going to be fap worthy or anything. It's too soon to judge for me. this entire post is to point out that it is not akin to Wolverine Origins, and can't be judged on the merits of said game.
