Batman: Arkham Asylum

The combat challenge rooms were what I was expecting to give me great replay, all they do is piss me the hell off. Might as well get 30 bucks out of the game from Gamestop while I can.

I assume he just left after scribbling the thing on the floor.
Yeah, Clayface taunts you about how you told him to stay where he was yet he up and left if you talk to Clayface when you find the thing on the floor.

Yeah, I really like the riddles in the game. Have to figure out what they are and then find them.

Another thing, I solved all the Chronicles of Arkham and
Does Sharp just disappear? Was he just a physical manifestation of Amadeus Arkham's spirit?
I think he was just a regular warden that went a little loopy due to his surroundings.

The predator challenges are awesome.

You should put it on CraigsList. You could probably get $50 for it.

The Joker Predator challenges are tough. Detective mode helps a lot in the Batman version.

I swear if any DLC is extra costumes that can only be used in the Challenge Rooms, that's gonna bump me down from buying the game, to renting it.:o

I think it was the first Spider-Man game for the PS1 that spoiled me on unlockable costumes. I got a few extra play-throughs on that game on costumes alone, just because I wanted to use the black & white suit, then the Scarlet Spider outfit, then I had to go through it with the stupid Fantastic Four Kick-Me suit...good times.:woot:

a good portion of the riddles require a better than average knowledge of Batman and the lore...took me a bit today to find the Ratcatchers little hole

I had to cheat more than a few times, I'll admit. Made worse when the Riddler caught on..."You're looking these up on the internet, aren't you?"

"Why yes, yes I am, you little turd."

It's a shame he didn't make an appearance. I'd love to kick his ass up around his ears.

Yeah. I wish there were more riddles, less trophies, and less making the question marks. I liked finding things like Mr. Freeze's cell and T. Elliot on the surgery board.

The trophies reminded me of the 100 secret packages from GTA and I hate running around collecting those things. At least with Riddler's trophies you run into a lot of them as you adventure, so they weren't quite as bad.

The ?'s were...ok...but I wouldn't want too many more of them.

The riddles themselves were the best, and if we're talking about a second game, I'd definitely like more of that sort of thing.

I didn't look anything up and I collected all of the Riddler stuff on my first play-through. :oldrazz: The Riddler's like, "Who's helping you?!" and I was like, "No one, b****, this is all me. I'm Batman."

I didn't even realize the Riddles thing. I thought those were hints on where to find the trophies, and I just couldn't understand them. :csad:

Behold, the great circle of life:

From Penny Arcade, I thought it was kind of funny :O

I've invested too much time in the combat challenges already.

It's amazing how I have little to no patience with this game compared to the most difficult settings of other games.

The predator challenges are awesome though. Already aced those, just trying to speed up a few of them.

Finished my hard playthrough and got all the Riddler stuff. Had to cheat on like the last six or seven but other than that found them on my own. The Arkham Chronicles, they started off rather boring I thought but they ended up being pretty freaky.

I got all the riddles my first time through as well, although I do have to admit to using the map to find them. Made it a lot easier.

The riddles are great, but are hard to find some of them without going crazy. lol. Using the maps help, that is for sure. So far, I'm loving this game! Almost half way through.

Oh, I used the maps. But the game provides those for you, so I don't consider them cheating.

I must be the only one who doesn't play games on hard. lol. Always normal mode.

I rarely do. The only game I've beaten on the hardest difficulty was Call of Duty 2 on Veteran. Now that is a *****.

Normal in B:AA was juuuust the right shade of difficulty for me. I had some trouble in the Ivy fight, and the last two gave me a challenge, but I didn't have the thing where you're stuck on a particular fight or level for days on end [1]. I HATE that.

[1] Gears of War. I cannot beat the last guy. I hate him so much and I've been replaying the last level for weeks but no dice.

I'm going to try and beat this game on hard, but I might give up halfway through. I beat it on Normal today.

I tried to beat that guy for months, and I never could. So I sold the game, with only one guy left.

I don't really understand why a ton of people had trouble fighting Ivy, I found her relatively easy.

The one that made me want to punch a child was the fight before the final boss fight. With the two Bane-looking guys and the 30 normal guys that would drop down every once in a while. That was such a *****.

Just finished it about 2 nights ago, I loved every moment of it. Also if anyone got the guide book, I'd like to see all the rest of those characters in that book make it into a highly thought out and well organized sequel set in open world gotham.
