Batman: Arkham Asylum

id go for it.....have Batman deal with the criminals who left Arkham after Joker took over...and Wayne Enterprises...Mr. Freeze or The Riddler could take over a part of it

I like the idea of Black Mask uniting Gotham's gangs as the penultimate boss and Ra's masterminding everything as the true final boss. We got the main "classic" villain as the big bad of AA. Give the newer guys a shot with the sequel. Plus, the idea of Bruce and Ra's having a big fight in Wayne Manor and the Batcave makes me tingle with joy.

He's been a major factor in the comics lately and, as far as mob bosses go, he's the most recognizable in Batman's rogues gallery. It's just that Batman's more classic villains tend to be the crazies.

Obviously, they'd include Two-Face and Mr. Freeze and some of the others who got left out of AA as well. Plenty of room for 'em all.

I have no idea why, but the combat challenges are really tough for me. I found it hard just to crack 18,000 as Batman on the first map.

I couldn't get past 16,000 myself. Persistence is key in these challenges.

I got that 40x Combo achievement yesterday. It was weird, I was just doing one of the challenges to show my friend the game, and we were like having a conversation as I was fighting, and I didn't even realize how much ass I was kicking until the achievement popped up. I was like "WTF?!?!". I felt cool. I think I ended up with like a 53x combo once it was over.

how come I just got the bigger bang and the biggest bang trophy for beating it on hard?

I thought I had to complete the game on all difficulties?

lol, so now I have a platinum Trophy? whatever that means...and 100% complete story, bios, trophies, riddles and challenges.

I feel good, but at the same time, I was hoping to have to get one more trophy for beating the normal mode.

I couldn't get passed like 4,000 on the first challenge.

I assure you with lots of practice the skill will come, trust me.

I have gotten over 50,000 on some of the challenges now. Just from playing it over and over.

well they only have 3 settings....easy, normal, and hard....on the next game they need to have an equivalent of Legendary that Halo has and call it 'Batman'....Easy, Normal, Hard...then Batman

So yeah, I never got around to finishing my review (in fact I've made fewer posts all week), but I'd say this guy somes up my thoughts, having finished the game.

The game is fun and better than I expected and the atmosphere and story make you feel like you're batman. Superhero games should be more like this. However, as a game in general...there were some things they could have done to make it perfect.

So yeah respond to this guy's review.

I love how fairness is the supposed goal on the boards, and yet reactions like this are allowed. The guy didn't even knock the game he finds it boring. It can be rather boring at times. That's not fail it's a game with a lack of replay value and repetitive gameplay.

Yes, the replay value after 2 plays isn't that great. I wish after beating the game, you could start over with all your upgrades and new weapons in the beginning. I know storywise, you'd be getting the line launcher twice, but it'd be cool to use it earlier in some places.
