Batman: Arkham Asylum

I already have that interview tape, and yes I am talking about the painted mark. It's not on the ground level, it's up on the 3rd story I believe.

Hm, just take your time and survey the area man. It shouldnt be too hard. If you have located the question mark, you know the dot is close. If you can, try reaching a higher vantage point, that might help some. Or back up so you can see more of the area.

Go to the hut. Go up the stairs next to the hut. Walk forward to the railing on the balcony that is in front of the door so you are looking out towards Medical and over the ambulances. Turn on detective mode. You'll see the top part of the question mark on the ground, and the dot on the rail.

Something strange just happened to me, maybe it was a glitch...I don't know.

I'm on my third playthrough right now (ON MEDIUM) I beat it on easy and hard.

So the scene in the botanical gardens where Batman walks into the room where Joker is on the other side of the water and he has a guard. And Batman says: LET HIM GO!

And Joker says: If you say so.

And throws him into the water

BATMAN: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Than Joker walks away and blows up the passage way that he walks through.

WELL!!!

On my first and second playthough that's what happened, but on my 3rd right now...Batman walked in and was like: You have to stop this

And Joker said something like: you can't stop me (or whatever the dialogue is) Walked through the passage way and blew it up. It was like a 3 minute scene knocked down to 7 seconds hahaha...and there was no death of a guard? Very strange...anyone else experience this?

Okay...nevermind, I think I know what happened. before going into the room I already deactived the electrical box...therefore the Joker couldn't have thrown the guy in the water, because he wouldn't have gotten electrocuted...haha COOL!

Wierd...

A fight against Prometheus would've been outstanding, I think. Especially with the freeflow system. You could sit there countering each other for hours. :D
Funny, I thought the same thing when I got his bio. Would've been something if it actually happend. :hehe:

god, do I suck at the combat challenges. I can never get more than 12 consecutive. I think I hit x too much and always wind up swinging at air and killing my combo. Thus I cant even get the first stupid medal for a score of 6k. Any pointers I need? I also always seem to miss on the either the throw or the other combo takedown.

Just slow down man, that was my problem at first, i thought i had to be really quick, pace your attacks. Always try to think one step ahead, as soon as you begin an attack on one, be eyeing your next target or watching for any thugs that are running up to you(as they most likely are about to strike and you can get a quick counter on them). Try not to do any ground take downs unless there is no one around you. Dont forget about your batarangs either, they can buy you time or keep a combo going if an enemy isnt in range.

I would rather fight Owlman(Antimatter universe). Sibling rivalry is always good. If the sequel would take place in Owlman's Gotham city, it would be an interesting story.

Has anyone actually left the controller alone and just listened to what Batman is screaming in the
final Scarecrow scene: "CUT ME FREE! YOU HAVE TO LET ME OUT OF HERE! I DIDN'T KILL THAT FAMILY! HELP ME, SOMEONE HELP ME, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME IT'S A MISTAKE I DIDN'T DO IT!"

it's kind of disturbing with the music and all

Whatever it is, I hope it's new (meaning: I hope it's not the Scarecrow maps for those who didn't pre-order) That would be boring and dissapointing to everyone who already has it

The Scarecrow Challenge map, I hope it's not that. Because I already have it lol

I gotta tell ya, some of these Riddles make me want to take Riddler's cain, and smash it over his head.

Like Project said, just slow down. I realized like after my 30th try that timing is key. Once you've began your combo, try to keep the goons well in sight almost moving toward them in a full circle, that way it's easier to knock them all down. That's what I did for challenges like Intensive Treatment and Sewer Bat. But for the Extreme ones, cape stun helps alot.

I'm still stuck on Shock and Awe, I'm always close though. :awesome:

I just did the easy 4 Predator challenges, now I'm on to the last 4. I don't think I'm going to really try the combat challenges, except to try and get the 40 combo.

I'm stuck on Shock and Awe too but I finally learned that you can stun and evade the taser and knife thugs and still keep your combo going which is key and then from there it's all timing.

Thanks guys. I'll give that a shot. I think I just have a tendency to buttom mash when I get to the levels where I'm surrounded by like 6 or 7 guys.

Me too Hulk. :(

I finally did a twenty chain combo and got the achievement for that during the mission through the Arkham mansion.

I'm really digging the Scarecrow sections, especially the death of Bruces parents segment.

I still wish we actually fought more of the villians all fistcuff like.

edit: oh, and I've loving all the comic homages, such as seeing Catwoman's equipment in a display case and Scarface in another display case in the mansion.

Yeah. I stopped to listen to that, too. Pretty weird stuff.

I appreciate your help. I will be sure to look for it when I play it again. Which won't be tonight since the NFL season kicks off tonight. GO TITANS!! :applaud

Haha, i feel ya on that. Altho i hope the Titans get murdered, except for LenDale, i hope he scores like 5 times as he's on my fantasy team, hah.

Anyone else only get the Croc ending? I've played through twice and only got Croc's ending but I heard there was a Bane and Scarfecrow ending.
