You act like Mods are new.
Ain't it?
Only recently I got to play on my PC, cause I got a good one, so if there's more to see, I'd like to know.
Perhaps they made new costumes for Web of Shadows too?

Mods have been around pretty much as long as 3D PC games, at least. There are always some talented people who happen to be fans of the game or the characters who'll start nosing around in the code or the art materials, mess with them, and then offer others the opportunity to download their changes for themselves.

Anyone know when that new DLC is coming out to PS3 today? I wanna give it a try.

So how are you guys enjoyning the new maps? :) (There not out yet in US tho i believe)

Hands down, favorite Joker line is after you first catch sight of Scarecrow.

I'm paraphrasing...

"What are you really afraid of, Bats? Failing to rescue the commissioner? Losing the city to a bunch of maniacs? Me... IN A THONG?!" (Followed by high-pitched fake scream.)

Kills me everytime.
Same, I was laughing days after I first heard it

Never gonna happen, I don't think. Unless they make an extension that's strictly more Riddles and thugs.

Ya never know, though.

I thought the new maps were pretty sweet. The combat one is fun because its a survival mode with no knife guys or cattle prod guys just alot of arkham and blackgate inmates. The invisible predator map was really sweet too, alot of different levels and pretty challenging when you first play it.

Where is the invisible pradator map set? Is it outside on the arkham grounds?

Not really. You're not exactly indoors but you're not roving around the grounds either.

The new stealth map is pretty sweet! I don't think the map is anywhere in the actual game like the other challenges. I just got ranked something like 565 on PSN, not bad imo.

I don't think I'll be getting any new maps unless they show up free. The only content I'd pay for is more main gameplay, like with Fallout.

Just got up to the second Scarecrow part in the mansion again. I just love it.

The maps are free.

Eidos basically has my wallet. Whatever they put on the marketplace im buying. Glad the maps were free, but i would have paid for em, no hesitation.

Yeah I enjoyed the new maps a lot. I liked how on the stealth one you had to kill a certain colored guy last which made you come out of just playing in detective mode the whole map, as you are apt to sometimes do in the stealth challenges. Also the inverted takedown through the glass looks cool as hell

Another awesome Joker line that I forgot about: "He's already taken one of you out! And not in a nice, 'first date' kind of way"

Whelp, I beat the game last night, along with getting 100% of the riddler challenges. Here is a quick review now that I've played all the way through it.

The game itself is awesome, and is most definitely one of the best Batman games to be made, bar none. The fighting is simplistic but fun and the game length makes it so the fighting doesn't get too boring. The stealth aspect was handled well, I thought, as I normally hate stealth games.

My biggest gripe is what I've already said, most of the bosses either sucked or weren't even bosses. The final boss (which I won't spoil for Nollin Rollin assuming he ever reaches him) was pure crap. I mean what the heck!?! It didn't ruin the game as a whole, but the final boss was simpler to beat than earlier bosses, mostly boiled down to a thug brawl, and the idea of Joker doing that was just stupid. Oh, did I mention it was stupid. :whatever:

But the game is really fun and the story (other than the end) is fantastic. Listening to Riddler get busted by the cops after you get all the challenges was pure hilariousness. Plus hearing ont he police radio about Harvey Dent at the end was great.

I'm doing the challenges right now. I'm loving the stealth ones, but I'm still having a few issues getting a high enough score during the combat challenges....it'll just take more practice.

Oh and Hulk, after Joker used the Titan on Batman, Batman used the antidote on himself, so it was just Batman being too awesome for the Titan to take effect.

Anyone know how exactly to do the "Knocking off the ladder" medal challenge?

did anyone freak out and think there system went up when the scarecrow effect happened and the screen went crazy right beofre batman was in jokers position at the beginning of the game?
