Haven't played any of the Arkham games but this looks like it'll be my first.

Gotta say I hate CG trailers though. They don't represent what the game looks or plays like so whats the point of them? They're fine as cutscenes but I need gameplay footage to sell me on a game.

I'm in agreement with you. He had a perfect send off. Of course, I hope they deal with his legacy in the form of Harley and it sort of sounds like the chaos that Joker brought to Batman's life was also the same chaos the kept many villains in check. So his presence will be felt in one way or another, which is fine, I just want him to be a side note.

I think with Scarecrow's fear toxin, there's a good chance the Joker will appear as a hallucination.

Whether or not a clone returns, he'll be mentioned in some way. The details just released say crime has plummeted since his death, and Batman feels something is about to break the drought.

Didn't RS say that the trailer was used with in game graphics? I could have sworn I read that on readit.. Maybe it was just that there's no cut scenes and everything is in game engine.

Either way..I wouldn't be shocked if in game graphics would be close to this. RS was never a slouch in the graphics department.

Yup. All of the game's cutscenes take place within the game engine and have no pre-rendered cutscenes ala GTA V.

This trailer wasn't Rocksteady's in game engine though. This was most definitely Blur.

I'm not really a fan of racing games, so driving the Batmobile has no appeal for me. Combine that with more infuriating Riddler trophies, and it's almost a negative for me.

That being said, I'm happy Rocksteady is back. Origins may have had a good story, but the gameplay was horrible.

your the only one other then me that keeps saying this Thank you. for the most part most of the design's on the villain's are pretty close to the same though as was most of the other stuff.

There won't be any racing here, some chasing how ever, yes. but that's not really the same and there will be remote control combat from the bat mobile on the streets where you can call on it for assistance with crowd control for your self from the thug's/ Hench men. and a few other features.

I'm pretty sure Killing Joke happened in this continuity.

If I remember correctly, she's reading Joker's emails and he makes a joke about wheelchairs that bothered her.

so what? Killing Joke happened in current DC continuity and she is Batgirl. Its not like they cant uphold what was established to have happened to her in the Arkham universe while still having her regain the use of her legs. Again, there's already precedence for this as its what they did with her in the books without ignoring/erasing what happened

she's such a badass and would fit right in the Arkham world.

Would you guys stop with this. Barbara is oracle in the arkhamverse. And that's all she will be in this game. So just stop. And zenith Harley is playable but just for challenge maps I think.

yeah I know as tto other characters if they show up the most i'm expecting is this

I don't mind that there is no traditional MP in the game, but I'm disappointed that they didn't at least throw in some optional co-op. I need another Batman game where I can beat up tons of punks, together with a friend.

as I said I was willing to settle for ether the co-op, but if not having it at all Have Batman coordinating Night wing , Tim and huntress, around the city in area's he can't reach via his radio via cinematic's scene for us if co-op was to be dropped as well. and it'll show case them saving citizen trying to escape the city from thugs blocking their path from those other routs around the city.


It will show batman be a tactician as well as a leader and it'll show characters like huntress are around in the universe with in the city, if we can't use them some people will be a little bit satisfied .

oh yeah I keep forgetting about the pre rendered cut scenes being removed. Ok just show that the others (Tim and night wing and huntress ) are in the world battle front style. or just deploy the to other sections of the city. you defeat a section they will succeed in their mission, you fail they will fail off screen as well .
