I've never seen a multiplayer like this anyway. Revolutionary might be an overreaction from my part, but at least it's unlike anything else!

I wouldn't say revolutionary. we haven't had that since Cod 4 and Bfbc 2 but I would say it looks like it.could be decent fun and if there is achievements tied to it, I won't mind getting them. It'll be hard to find time for it when Spies vs Mercs will be taking up my multiplayer time

Yea it deff has some neat tweaks to it. I mean playing as a thug, your mind really is split between the other team and then Batman and Robin. You are constantly searching up on the rafters and under the floor. I do think they should strip the thugs x ray vision though. I know its a limited use thing, but i still think it gives them too much power over the Heros. Maybe instead of like XRay, make it like Night vision or something.

But outside of that little wrinkle, its a pretty straight forward control the command post type game.

I also think that once you and your friends team up and start coordinating, it can be a LOT of fun.

In the Beta theres just the one. 2 teams of 3 then Batman and Robin.

That's what I thought (though I presumed it was two game types. 1 for team deathmatch, 1 for capturing a location but it looks as if that is one game type) do we know if there is any more in the actual game cause this was all the multiplayer showed as well.

Multiplayer looks fun. It might get old or annoying after awhile but it seems like it'll be a nice side dish to the main game. I like Robin's look.

pretty pleased the collectors edition here is only $118
i was expecting i bit higher considering the arkham city one was $150 but thats fine by me

Apparently there are many upgrades so I imagine that is one of them. I think it will feel weird firing a machine gun in an Arkham game though . The multiplayer does look impressive though and I certainly hope it is something Rocksteady take and adapt for Arkham 3 now that the groundwork has been laid.

It's freakin Batman, think of how many multiplayer game types you could squeeze out of this.

The aiming reticle is there from the start, at least it was with the guns i was using last night(maybe some guns dont have it?). It actually doesnt feel that weird controlling the thugs. Its pretty fluid. They could stand to be a little quicker, but for the most part they control really well.

Ohhh I thought he meant zooming in whilst shooting like a scope or something, my bad.

I've been playing the multiplayer, it's pretty fun. It's pretty challenging since you always have to be watching your back for Batman & Robin. Nightfall Batman looks great with the red eyes. Not fair for Xbox fans, almost got me thinking about rolling with the PS3 version this time but I would hate to cause I have Asylum and City for 360.

Nice to hear! I love that it looks like you'll really feel like a thug from the campaign, and see Batman from their point of view. I loved in the video how you could see Batman running away into the shadows and disappear while you shoot at him haha!
