If anything she should be saved for last (since she's what everyone wants and expect's) and of all peoples' money is the least of the reasons why she'd want to do this for. Unlike bane and death stroke who are Merc's by occupation , then actual assassin's that will stick to their contracts and those two can be bought off if it ever came to it, compared to actual assassins. (He won't pay them off cause it'll give away who batman is but just saying )

With her, She'd just do it cause she wants to fight the bat period.

Yeah, I'm hoping she's the last assassin. She's definitely the person who has given Bruce the most trouble in terms of fighting over the years. Even Bane could only beat Batman by wearing him out beforehand.

Mind you, Batman has never beaten her in hand-to-hand period. But I'm willing to accept he likely will in Arkham Origins. Unbeatable bossfights are never very appealing.

Or they might leave it as a draw in a cut scene or some one interfering with her much needed fight to take on Batman . So even if we did "technically beat her" for them it's not the case. It'll be like he held his own and survived. Lol, Oh I don't want to be that person that interfered in her match.

I was rewatching the cut scene where Batman meets Bane and Joker and I was wondering why they are working together.

It kinda looked like Joker has some type of leverage over Bane.

They always give Joker too much power with these things if that's the case. Lol I hope that scenario I just said happens and it's a joker that interferes in lady shiva match. That will keep the both of them busy with each other for years. Just have joker say "no one kills the bat but me. " fires what ever gun at her and that gets her ticked off where it's her own personal man hunt for him.

lol all I'd need is a mass effect like dialogue three where I'll say Alfred I'm headed home for Christmas dinner early. It seems I'm finally done here, For the night.

The more I think about it, the more I think Joker may end up being the mastermind/final boss again. I'm not sure if the following counts as a spoiler, but I'm gonna use the tags just in case.

One of the achievements is to defeat all the assassins and another is to defeat Joker. This may seem like flimsy evidence, but of the story linked achievements defeating Joker nets you the most points. Is there a game anyone can think of, that has story linked achievement points where beating the final boss gets you less than doing something else story related?

No doubt Joker is the overall mastermind. I'm positive that Black Mask will be reduced to being a pawn as Joker rises to power in Gotham as The new order of criminality as The Clown Prince of Crime . He'll ushering in the dawn of the freaks taking over Gotham to challenge Batman.

With that being said I still want to see how the story unfolds to get to that point.

When they say your enemies will define you and they end it with lighting showcasing jokers face as the last scene . It's obvious where it's headed.


DC has it's hang up as does marvel in over exposing a point with certain things like Joker being portrayed as the one that defines the Bat . Till some does some thin other wise or removes the boss to change the status of that place. That's how it'll be.

Joker is Batman's main adversary, he debut in Batman #1 (Spring 1940). So it would make sense we see it from the Arkhamverse how this came to be.

I've made my piece with Joker's over-saturation.

We'll never have a game where he's not the main villain, and that's okay with me. As long as Black Mask is used as well as Strange in AC - I am of the opinion he was used to excellent effect-I'll be fine with it.
