Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 4

The Arkham Origins game is out on the iTunes store now. I'm gonna dl it and see how good/bad of a free game it is. It's about 500MB.

I played until my stamina bar was down to 1 bar and thus I couldn't play anymore without feeding the beast more credits or $$$. I fought and beat Copperhead. The battles have some QTEs in them and the one with the Copperhead was the most elaborate I got to see.

Yep. I downloaded the game and it's not bad, but the stamina bar thing is a downer. If I want that bar to fill up again it's quite a long wait. Because I wouldn't spend any money on this thing.

Very nice. The character model here is different from the one in the 4-minute trailer. More Bale-looking. The whole thing gives off a Nolan vibe, which is no bad thing of course.

That short hair shot of him training reminded me of Batman#24 from the New 52. Either way..what an awesome promo.

I figured it was a tribute to Roger since he doesn't have a full set of hair.

The iOS game has what looks like the sequence from the actual game where Batman discusses the situation with the Assassins. He discusses 6 of them. Bane, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Copperhead, Electrocutioner and Firefly. No mention of the Joker.


Also the Dark Knight suit is available in the game as is the inJustice one.

In the clip I mentioned, there is a shot of Batman in front of his monitors in the BatCave. Why couldn't this be the collector's edition statue? Why does everything have to be about the Joker?

My only tiny and most miniscule complaint would be the lack of continuity when it comes to Bruce Wayne's face but I'm aware continuity isn't the purpose of these cinematic promos but rather the message it's sending across to the viewer.

Great video but not nearly as powerful as the God of War: Ascension video, which this reminded me alot of.

Mysterio has only been the main villain in one serious console game (which means I don't include Friend or Foe). Shocker hasn't been used for a seriously long time now. I agree with Venom/symbiotes, Black Cat and Rhino though, especially the first.

Exactly that's an in game shot not a cinematic made specifically as a promo. The promo Wayne looks nothing like that.

Good to see they stayed with the same model for the actual game though.
