Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 4

I thought Two-Face was fine, he just wasn't in the game very much. I don't see how that makes him a bad character. This will be less popular, but Bane as well. We saw him for ten seconds in each game, did we even have enough time for him to have a chance at showing his intelligence?

I've really enjoyed the games. You can't have a ton of time with every character. Unless they gave the joker less time which as we all know won't ever happen.

Bane was ******ed in every single sense of the word in both AA and AC. I'm really glad they fixed him up a bit in AO.

I actually get annoyed when I have to play the Catwoman bits. I just want to continue Bat's adventure, and then I have to make some tedious detour, before I can continue.

My issue with Catwoman is how blatantly sexually charged she was. It screamed of pandering to the male, teenaged demographic as so many games do (as well as many other mediums). That is an aspect of her character but it isn't nearly the largest and the excessive cleavage on the design and the move where she kisses her opponent were detracting. That this has occurred many times in the comics is no excuse. The character model for Poison Ivy makes sense for that character because she is a seductress first and foremost, not so much for Selina Kyle.

There have been several cases where the character versions have been lacking in this series. It comes down to immaturity and a superficial method of making a character edgy. The Penguin came off that way to me with the absurd broken coke bottle in the eye as a surrogate for the monocle.

They layered it on pretty darn thick with her.

I would suggest you guys and gals read Brubaker's Catwoman series for an excellent treatment of her. She is sexy yes, but there is far more to her character than simply bad catpuns and oversexualised dialogue. The way her relationship is written with Bruce is fantastic as well.

LOL yeah that was disgusting. Especially when she kissed Joker's scruffy looking goons in their clown make up and manky beards.

By the way, I am also a Two-Face fan. I love his characterization in the game, but felt disappointed on how much he was used in the game. AC to Two-Face fans is like the equivalent to boba fett fans watching the original Return of the Jedi movie.

Yeah, that's one of my flaws with AC. There was supposed to be this war between Joker, Penguin, Two-Face and their respective gangs trying to take over AC, but as I said before once you save Catwoman from Two-Face at the beginning he disappears for the rest of the main story.

They should have given Two-Face a bigger part in the main story and made Batman go to his headquarters to defeat him and his gang the same way you did with Penguin and the Joker. After you destroyed the Penguin's gang you could have done the same with Two-Face gang and then only the Joker would have been left at the end. The gang war would have been much more interesting that way.

I'm kinda hoping Harvey Dent at least appears in AO and we can see his origin there.

Picked up Arkham Asylum & Arkham City both GOTY additions (ie including all DLC) for £7.50 altogether on Steam.

Offer ends in roughly 22 hours so if you've got a decent enough PC to play them, it's well worth it given how enjoyable both games are to play through.

I love Kevin Conroy as much as the next guy but I don't understand why it's a crime against humanity for some fans every time they don't use him for an animated show/movie or video game.

Yeah I do t get it. Conroy is great obviously. And we've been spoiled with him as batman for many things. But people do need to accept it and get over it. Game comes out in less then a week, and people are still annoyed or upset by it. Ridiculous.
