Tom Cullen and Aidan Turner should play the two sides of Two-Face.

Cullen looks pretty solid.

But it's my boi's Jake G role to turn down.

If not him, then sure give it some up n coming British actor.

Same. I'm not really a fan of the idea of him, but I just want him confirmed so the speculation could end already, lol.

Honestly, I'd even take just confirmation that Affleck is officially out as Batman right now. It'd be ideal to get a replacement announcement sooner rather than later, especially if it's Gyllenhaal, but I think the "Will he, won't he?" situation with Affleck needs to just end already.

I agree. And I really like Affleck in the role (not so much in JL) but I'm sick of the Will He Won't He dance. And I only want him back if he puts effort into it, and not another JL performance.

I think the writing is on the wall that Affleck's not coming back.

Reeves talked about an emotional, mature Batman story. I don't think there's any coming back from "D-do you talk to fish?" "I don't... not... like you." and "Oh something's definitely bleeding."

Alright, I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like Batman's character was a complete departure from what we saw in BvS. It was like going from B89 to B&R. It was such a night and day difference to me.

Bingo.

I could have seen Reeves continue on from the BvS Batman, but the hamfisted, joke of a character we got in JL? No way. It was so damaging that I don't think you can come back from it. Frankly, you shouldn't even try to. Recast and wipe the slate clean, I say.

Yup. Most (if not all) of the Batman-related Whedon inserts were embarrassing.

The only thing Whedon positively contributed to Batman in the film was the opening scene with him perched on a gargoyle. A single visual shot.

Which looked quite cartoonish, as it were.

But to balance out his positive contribution, he also removed the close-up of this shot:

another excellent edition to the batface collection, including this beauty

Those bits in Gotham were right out of Schumacher’s movies! The burglar was just missing an “$$$” sign on his bag.

It’s honestly crazy to me that Jake has a shot at this. He and Ryan Goaling have been my favorites for this role for years.
