I wouldn't be surprised if Bale changed his mind and or liked 50 million dollars.
Samesies. We all thought Nolan wouldn't be attached to JLA in any form, now he's executive producing a movie with another version of Batman. That involvement of Goyer/Nolan plus Amy Adams may get Bale back in the game. Maybe he saw MOS and was interested, who knows. But 50 million can change his mind.

Bale's return would be great, but it raises a lot of questions. Would this be the same Batman? If not, how would it be distinguished? If so, when will this movie occur, in the trilogy's chronology? TDKR might have to be given a full George Lucas overhaul.
It's possible that Bale would play a different Batman and then it can eventually be passed off to another actor, Bond style once the solo films come into play. Maybe WB are having trouble thinking of ways to do solo movies and for now want to keep batman exclusive to crossovers, in that case Bale would work. They can act like he's a few years younger than Rises-Bats. Getting away with not referencing the trilogy.

OR if it's connected. It's definitely taking place after TDKRises. He wouldn't have to return to Gotham per say, well maybe briefly, and focus his efforts on Metropolis and other countries (JLA).

I think even with the separate world's being in play TDKR actually sets the stage for a reasonable return of Bale as Batman. He leaves to be with Selina, Gotham is under control but a new hero emerges... from another planet. Metropolis is destroyed. A good thing for Bruce Wayne to check into, and a good reason for Batman to make a return.

Alright. I gave in and clicked the link :D It was too obvious there was a catch with that not being in US currency though ;)

Hell, Anne Hathaway could even make an appearance.

you honestly think that Warners, especially with what they’re up against, aren’t going to move Heaven and Earth to try to make what I mentioned above happen, then you’re insane. They almost have no other choice. David Goyer I couldn’t confirm his participation at press time, and it was holding up publishing the scoop. Hence, unconfirmed but my gut tells me most likely true. He is an important part of the equation and works quite well with this team. At the very least, he will most likely come up with a story. He has some other projects as a director he is trying to launch off the ground but like Michael Corleone once said, “Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in!“ World’s Finest Again, unconfirmed. But certainly within the realm of possibility. Could we instead get just a team up between these two and then graduate to a Justice League movie? Anything is possible folks. Debunkers Our track record with DC is impeccable. We broke Routh/Superman, Ledger/The Joker, the opening of The Dark Knight, etc., just to name a few. Remember, when we first broke that Goyer & Nolan were involved with Man Of Steel and Thomas Tull made a call over here to debunk us? So, um, how did that end up turning out? False? :)

Ya ElMayimbe is still pushing the Bale angle, but that could be because he already did that huge JL news thing before.
He's not pushing it anymore. He's been gung-ho about breaking the casting for Batman scoop. He wants to be the first one to find out. He's digging for it so im sure business wise he'll be letdown if Bale came back. But he DID say when Bale dropped that news of "im not returning", that Bale could be trying to get Warner's attention.

It works for both ways. I would love to see a new version of Batman that fits with this world + TDK trilogy completed with Bruce's happy ending. But at the same time it's easy to write this into MOS. Gotham's not too shabby like you said, Bruce witnessed Superman's impact like the rest of the world. Maybe Lex wants to buy out Wayne Enterprises or Bruce simply agrees with Lex that Superman is a potential threat to society. This would enforce the idea that Blake is Robin and not Batman. So some retconning would have to happen, but I see a smooth way to do it.

I would love that. Hathaway, Adams, Bale, Cavill plus a big name for Lex? It would be insane. It's already gonna be huge at the box office even with an obscure actor for Bats but imagine that cast? Avengers 2 and Star Wars better hide yuh kids, hide yuh wife, hide yuh husband...cuz Batman/Superman be rapin' errrybody out here!

bah yt fame  I'd be pretty surprised if the WB doesn't push back on the creative team to get Bale in the mix. I'm open for a new Batman, but his success in the trilogy is hard to ignore. The excitement of him coming back would be more than they would get from announcement of his replacement.

Imagine if Bale said he would return if Snyder was fired. Would he win that battle?

Remember when Snyder and Zimmer said they wanted nothing to do with Superman? People deny things all the time in Hollywood. Bale coming back is not an impossibility at all. I'm still assuming he isn't and thus will continue my fancasting but if Bale and Hathaway came back I'd scream my freakin head off in excitement.

Jett from Batman on Film says this..

From what I’ve heard, the second MAN OF STEEL sequel (after 2015’s BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN) is going to be a “Trinity” film with Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Wanna bet?

That is the reaction I feel most fans and general public will have towards a Bale announcement. That is why I still keep it in the realm of possibility. The WB knows this, and they want this to be a potential blockbuster that can go toe to toe with Avengers.

Yup, and Diane Nelson saying Nolan being involved with Superman was only a rumor before news broke of him producing MOS.

Bale can come back if he loses the stupid voice as batman... why does he use it when talking one on one with alfred or lucious?? Lol

I wouldn't be against him coming back, but I feel his arc is complete, let someone else shine

Nolan doesn't want to direct superhero films, so it would seem to go nowhere. Nolan gets to put his creative input, and if the films aren't up to par the blame can go back to Snyder. It places him in a safe area.

I think a rebooted Batman is for the best but I'd be lying if I say that the idea of both Bale and Hathaway returning is not super exciting.

If he wins, will he ask his BFF Malick to direct it? :hehe:
