Haha, hey you never know. Anything can happen. Especially since movies based on popular video games always seem to run into trouble and no one really seems to be clamoring for a Prometheus sequel.

And who knows? If X-MenOFP underperforms, they might scrap any plans for future X-Men movies for a while. Wolverine isn't exactly tearing up the box office right now.

By the time DOFP would underperform, this film would be well on its way into filming.

But I truly think no matter what, Fox will keep on the X-Men locomotive. They're pretty much competing with Marvel with DOFP it seems.

Oh, and I'm seriously thinking about Jensen Ackles to be Batman. Or Jared Padalecki since Jared is good at being tormented. Okay, they both are...

You know, I'm sure he's been mentioned but I wouldn't be opposed to Patrick Wilson as Batman. He worked with Snyder before. I think he has that perfect voice for Bruce Wayne. Give him the right script, fix up his appearance a little and it could be magic. Who knows. I liked the idea of Karl Urban at first but now the more I see pictures, the less I like him as Batman.

I don't like the rumored frontrunners at all. Of course that's just my opinion but really, are they going to cast a 40-48 year old actor as Batman and then what? Reboot the character with a younger guy?

True, I guess I should have reiterated my post. If they go that route, he would be a pretty good choice. RDJ was 43 in the first IM FWIW. I just hope they don't go the way of unknown.

Yeah he was actually really good in The Conjuring. If anyone hasn't seen the movie, I definitely recommend it. The guy does look very young but the voice acting is excellent. I like a guy who commands his presence. He is one who can do that given the right character and the right script which could work pretty well as Bruce/Batman.

I'm all for Jensen! Not on Jared though. Really don't think he's that great of an actor. Jensen carries that show.

I hope they don't bring in Wonder Woman. I worry this movie will already be overstuffed as it is. You have Clark settling into the Daily Planet, the Daily Planet, Lois/Clark, Lois, whatever villain, Bruce Wayne. I don't want this to be like "Batman and Robin," which was way too overstuffed with characters IMO. (Yea, I know it wasn't much good anyways, but I think it would have helped a lot if they hadn't had so many characters/relationships to juggle!)

I like Fassbender, but I can't see him playing Batman and Magneto. I really can't see Fox allowing that, and he has to be under contract to them for more X Men.

Not a fan of Patrick Wilson either.

There aren't many people being mentioned that I could see in the role. I hope they either go with Jensen (I know, long shot) or a relatively unknown like Henry Cavill was. He worked out for me!

i dont think you need an A lister but atleast someone with recognition within the film industry a guy with the chops and a respectable resume that it will get the audiences respect
