Doctor Jones: What, exactly, is it about Duhamel and Pitt that prevents you from 'seeing' them as Bruce/Batman, JOOC?
Don't like Matt ***** for Bruce at all. Every time I see him, even prior to knowing his sexuality, my gaydar goes off. It's just a vibe from him and it's not synonymous with Batman to me at all. Not putting him down or anything, I just don't see him as the part at all. Too "pretty" or whatever you want to call it. I don't get any commanding qualities from him.

I like Kinnaman too, but wouldn't him being Robocop be a problem for him to be Batman?
And no, I did not listen to the podcast. (tell you why below, lol)
I used to like Jett but he's become something of an egotistical *****e.
I think 41-42 would be the cut off point and 32 would be as young as WB would go.
I cant see it with Jon hamm or brolin side by side with cavill makes it look like superboy vs batman. Im still holding out for Karl Urban, i like Matthew Goode so i think if he beefed up abit i think he would be good also, he has those michael keaton eyes.
I love you Keaton, I love you Bale, but we may have found someone to fill your shoes:

Duhamel is a less than mediocre actor.
I like Armitage too.
If he doesnt become the next Doctor Who tomorrow, he could very well be the next Batman.
I just hope they don't make Lane's role smaller or cut her out altogether. Wouldn't surprise me if they did though.
No, no. Talking about how your gaydar and Matt's sexuality disqualify him as Batman doesn't sound like an insult at all.
If you ever have to qualify a statement about someone's sexuality with a disclaimer of any sort, you should probably keep your opinion to yourself.
Back to the topic on hand, I think Matt would be a fine choice. He's vastly improved over the years, and he's become quite nuanced. Some of the beauty of Batman's character is that it's not the facial expressions, but the body-language you need to watch. I think Matt could pull that off very well.
Speaking of a good actor, it's really too bad that there isn't a role for Tim DeKay. He's Matt's costar in White Collar, and he's just a fabulous actor. I have loved nearly every role he's ever taken on (anyone ever seen Carnivale? He played the crippled guy, Jonesy).
Honestly though, he could almost play Lex Luthor. Which is another thread, I know. Maybe tomorrow.
That's fine and like I said, his ego has grown. But I still like him and his site myself. But if you're going to bash someone, even if you have just reasons to dislike them in the first place, just make sure to get information straight.
I'm shocked that Kinnaman guy was suggested. Not saying he looks like a crackhead but very crack-ish.
I just hope they don't get some crappy TV actor for the part. Some of you suggest Joe Manganiello and Jensen Akcles. JENSEN ACKLES!? The dude is pretty mediocre actor.
And yes, I have watched all seasons of Supernatural.
He comes off as a very obvious gay guy in everything I have seen him in. I do not see him as Batman because of that. He'd be better suited to other roles.
I think he'd be terrible. If he had to play someone based on looks alone, it would probably be Superman. But I don't get a Batman vibe from him at all.
