I think it will nearly gross 1.3 billion ww like frozen .
Said hype was earned through goodwill from 2 excellent films.notice how the Hunger games mokingjay part 1 has a 69% on RT? if that movie makes 150m+ OW then its proven that hype alone is far more important than critical reviews, therefore i think BvS with hype alone can cross at least a billion dollars

BvS is going off brand recognition.
Different story.
i don't understand why Hunger Game 3 (a super terrrible movie - you r very much wanna stab yourself and bang your head to the wall while watching it in cinema) can easily earn ++250M (more than CA 2).
i wonder if BvS was a super terrible movie like HG3, can it earn as much or not...

every single body is going to see this.

HG3 appealed to a broader audience (ie women because of the lead and the romantism of the story). To me, that's why.
I totally agree with youHonestly think this could get to 750 million in just the U.S and China
What's do you mean about out of control???The predictions here are getting out of hand. On the box office forums' China box office thread, the resident Chinese expert is predicting 180-200M in China for this movie as the Chinese box office will have expanded greatly in the next 14 months.
Domestically, TDKR should be the target, 448M, it needs a 180M OW to hit 448M. 75-80M from the UK is definitely possible, and around 50M from South Korea, the rest of Europe will add around 100-150M. Beyond that completely depends on how well it plays in Latin America and Asia. The Marvel movies (apart from Thor) are very strong in Latin America and Asia, Thor is stronger in Europe. If BvS can attract a good amount of people in Latin America and Asia, its journey to 1B will be easy, else we may see a slow trod like Hobbit 1.

I'm pretty sure those 6movies that you are referring to didn't have predictions as high as their gross. The 1.3-2B predictions are crazy. Only 6 movies in history have crossed that limit ever. BvS has almost no chance of going that high, if BvS is awesome, then JL can definitely go that high.
that's right on par with my predictionWe also have to factor in BvS great release date right in the middle of spring break, and with 6 weeks to run wild without any significant competition to speak of. So basically it has 6 weeks to it self to clean up at the box office. At the end of that 6 week run I think BvS will be looking at 500-550mil domestic tally.

That's being extremely generous. WB would be ecstatic if BVS hits Alice in Wonderland or Hunger Games' domestic numbers -- $300M to $410M -- and $800M-900M worldwide. Like jmc said, it has to capture the imagination as well as please moviegoers and critics. If it does that, the numbers could be higher.
If it can eclipse THG's $152M opening weekend record (or match it), then that bodes well for its playability. Best case scenario is that it plays like Captain America: Winter Soldier with a 2.73 multiplier. So if it hits $150M o.w. and holds similarly, it'll eclipse $400M when Captain America: Civil War opens. Now that's a great number.
