I think a lot of people are low balling the OW. For Pete's sake, its Batman & Superman onscreen for the FIRST TIME EVER! Let that sink in for a minute.

Am I the only one who felt that the screenplay/script/Goyer wasn't a problem for MOS but rather direction was? I mean,Batman Begins had a similar script and Nolan made it into a success
Majority of the critics blamed too much action/destruction as a negative point and I remember how Snyder had the budget increased mid production because he wanted longer and more elaborate action sequences. For me majority of the blame goes to Snyder
No one wants to be disappointed by high expectations. I am personally just hoping for the Easter record and March OW record.

We know superman can pull in 116 alone
And batman can do 160 alone
Don't know why most think 190+isn't possible when it's actually where this movie is headed
This will be a domestic monster with an opening weekend of 190+ and no competition for weeks 600 domestic is the floor
I'm sorry. I see this thrown around alot, but only fans are drawn in by that. It'll have to look good for the general audience (meaning, good action and dialogue mainly), but they arent jumping up and down over that aspect that you mentioned.
Christian Bale's Batman grossed $160 M. Reboot Man isn't necessarily going to maintain the entire audience.
Most people didn't even know this was being made until the teaser was released. Many still don't.
LoL. You must be trolling. Most people knew this movie was being made the moment they cast ben affleck as batman. That **** legit broke the internet. Heck, i found out about it from my Mum who is not even remotely interested in CBMs and barely uses the internet. Most people didn't even know this was being made until the teaser was released. Nope.
Even people who know ben is batman don't necessarily know that it's a batman/superman movie.
I have friends who didn't know this was coming out until the teaser. And these are young people. I can guarantee a lot of the 30+ demographic doesn't know about this yet

except i don't even think most people know about it.Note that Juha Bach said most people as opposed to everyone. Just because there are a hand full of people who don't know doesn't mean that it's not most people.
I just hope too much isn't revealed through the marketing. The movie is 8 1/2 months away. I don't think some of you realize how feverish the pitch will be the closer we get to this thing. This is a popular culture event. It will get free advertisement from that alone in addition to WB's marketing machine. Noone, and I mean NOONE, will be able to escape it's exposure as the months wind closer and closer to it's release.

Because only forum dwellers like us know about these movies a year in advanceThere are plenty of people who aren't regularly on the internet, who have no idea about this movie or that Ben Affleck has been cast.
One can only imagine it had Last April/August. Another 15 mill or so would have been within reach at worst imo.
