Why is that? Did you like it? I'm just curious because its reviews are even worse than the ones for BvS.I'm hoping The Boss exceeds expectations.

I think it's because he wants it to knock BvS off the #1 spot.

Mine, based on a time series model built around the movie's performance thus far and how that compares with the performance of two other movies (Clash of the Titans and Furious 7). I revise it every day after the totals come in and post the new predictions here.
Vader?
Now now let's not accuse him of such a thing until we have proof and let's hear his side of the story before we pull out our pitchforks.
Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Shame on y'all.![]()

If that's true, I don't understand why people think that way. I mean if it exceeds expectations and beats out BvS, it's not like anything earthshaking happens.
Exactly. It would fill him with glee to see that happen.
Strange way to think, isn't it?
I mean, I get wanting bad movies to fail because of the messages it sends to studios, but wanting other bad movies to succeed? I don't get that part.
How much variation is there on a day to day basis with your predictions? Do they generally become more accurate as the weekend approaches? I ask because I'm always interested in statistical modeling. That makes me borderline nuts. Weird, to say the least.
I noticed you had your percentages and so forth. Most people don't do that so I thought it might have been from some movie website or something.
t:Doctor Jones has been on this site almost as long as I have, and I can assure you he's no troll. He has made it clear he doesn't like the current direction of the DCEU, though, but that doesn't make him a troll.Wasn't it established some time ago that Doctor Jones was a DC troll? I could've sworn he said other ridiculous things and wanting DC to fail a couple months before release.
I don't even have a pitchfork, but I do have a sawzall and a table saw. Maybe we can do some sort of Pit and Pendulum movie???
......As a DC fan, it bothers the hell out of me when people respond by calling other people "trolls". What does that even mean? That the person in question doesn't believe in what he is saying and is only trying to piss people off? How would you even attempt to prove that? It's just dumb and childish. Let the man crap on DC or Marvel. He isn't insulting anyone, as far as i can tell.
I'm going to say $20 million. I thought Jungle Book was coming out this week but who knows, I'm hoping The Boss exceeds expectations.
Next week BVS will be dying domestically, crawling towards its short end.
It's gonna be pretty darn close between BvS and The Boss this weekend. My money's on BvS edging it slightly.

You seem like someone who's hoping BvS stop making $$. Too bad it's no longer consider a financial BO bomb but more of a let down that it didn't live up to some people's expectations. It's making $$ regardless of how people feel about this movie.

good pointIf you had told me a year ago this movie wouldn't have made a billion, I would have thought you were crazy. I knew it wouldn't get great critical reception, but I assumed it would pull a Transformers.
