Will be interesting to see the Monday figure.

Sorry, I also meant to see the first weekday figure so we can get some clues as to how it's holding up.

Oh, we're back to disrespecting people that think differently about the movie again? Classy.

You're aware that goes both ways I assume?

He never improves on criticism.

Man of Steel too dark? Let me make BvS darker.

Man of Steel didn't have my Superman? lets [BLACKOUT]kill him off.[/BLACKOUT]

Man of Steel had too much destruction? Let me [BLACKOUT]nuke Superman and Doomsday.[/BLACKOUT]

He's incapable of listening to anyone but his own ego, this is not the guy to run a cinematic universe, i hope this film doesn't make a billion but like 800M - 900M, enough to look good but enough to fire Snyder.

You are absolutely reaching here. Snyder went out of his way to confirm the destruction happened in uninhabited places.

Jesus Christ, people complained about all the innocent people dying and Superman not doing anything about it in Man of Steel, Snyder made Superman take Doomsday to Space in BvS to avoid any death toll. Now you are complaining about abandoned buildings being destroyed? I mean are you serious? You do realize this is Superman and Doomsday and Wonder Woman, right? I think you prefer them playing chess instead? How did the nuke cause any destruction?

Sleiek you know i'm reaching.... reaching for that lever that gets Snyder fired. :oldrazz:

Snyder really likes to hit people over the head with the obvious stick.

They're on an island. "It's uninhabited!" They made this painfully obviously at least 3 times in the movie. The island. Space. Downtown. Good lord, that was painful dialogue...

Box office related. I'm interested in the actuals to see if this ticks up or down. If it goes down a couple million than Monday's total becomes even more important. I think it will creep across the $1 billion mark.

Yeah, it's painfully obvious people are never satisfied. lol

What are you guys gonna do when he actually stays on board after all this? Just wondering because you've put so much energy and effort into the fact he should be fired. What then if that didn't work?

I don't know about that. Some of these critics made some important points.

1. First of all, Snyder used too many Oscar winners.

2. The film is too long with too many characters. Age of Ultron was forgiven because it had heroes teasing each other.

3. Snyder made a confusingly messy film. Why show a seen in which Bruce Wayne's father dies and then follow it up with another scene with Bruce Wayne's father being alive, in the present, played by a different actor?

This gives me a ton of faith in the critics. They were able to see the glaring holes. I don't think Bruce's father being alive was a nitpick, but a truly perceptive observation...even though I didn't see it in my viewing.

Ok, Bruce dad die. The person you are refering too is not his dad. His name is jack not dad lol... That person was one of his chief executive who died during the building collapsed. Some of you need to watch this movie multiple time to truly understand the movie. Before you start complaining. I recommend it as it gets better with multiple viewing. It will help you not make these mistake. Lol

I'm never satisfied when I put my money down for a dim-witted, poorly constructed film with stilted dialogue. I do not share your favorable opinion of this film.

Where was his father? In the metropolis destruction? wasn't that jack he was shouting?

I will cheer. Man of Steel, Watchmen, and Batman v Superman are some of my favorite superhero movies. While I would like him to tighten up his editing a bit for Justice League, I would be very happy with him at the helm.

As for box office, it's doing exceptionally well thus far. But who knows how it'll play out over the next few weeks? I think it'll still do well. Audience reaction is much, much better than the critics' reactions. We'll see how this all plays out from here.

Ha... And so it goes. So... It's got $424 million in now, already?

It should do well during the week as many schools and colleges have this week off.

What I said is TRUE because of one's opinions and tastes.

Even if you make an absolute masterpiece, there will always be people who will find a "flaw".

EDIT: You had your Rotten Tomatoes score, you didn't need to put your money down. You made the choice.

That's the theory I was trying to prove with the other thread about multiple viewings. 30 people said it improved their opinion on second viewing and 10 said the already liked it so it stayed the same after repeat viewings. Obviously some won't go again and that's their choice. But for characters we are passionate about and have waited 3 years, it's worth having a second look, specially now that the first reservation/expectations we had are gone. Now you will see the movie how it truly is, wether it's a good experience or a bad one, the won't be that preconceived notion that you had while looking at set photos, trailers, articles and such. :)

Oh, I know that was Jack. I was reading an article about the movie, and the author was wondering why Thomas Wayne was alive in Metropolis. I lol'd.

Yeah, that was Jack. I was responding to somebody complaining about the critics. It was in some article that questioned why Thomas Wayne was alive in Metropolis in the next scene, lol.

That's going to work extremely well in its favor. That and the fact that it has the same advantage Deadpool had in having no real competition for the coming month.
