I would love for them to do The Long Halloween after this followed by Dark Victory those are basically continuations of the year one storyline.I agree, going with someone else for Year One may be a smart decision, but I want Kevin in another adapted movie. Not just Superman/Batman stuff. Maybe TDKR, TKJ, TLH, etc.
I'm wondering if they'll make Doom a sequel to Crisis on Two Earths.

yep. i know i did
dude, he had 15 yrs worth of good scripts. he's not trying to leave his mar on batman, it's already there. he can and should retire his batman outside of the arkham games. hamil did it for the joker, and he's left just as big a mark if not bigger on that character than conroy has on batman
YES!!
The Killing Joke... with Hamill and Conroy
Don't you dare retire before it Hamill. But then he has been retiring from The Joker for years.![]()
oom.If they use Michael Ironside for The Dark Knight Returns then that wouldMy biggest issue with the constant recasts is that none of the voice actors gets to grow into the role. Hamill, as fantastic as he, inarguably got better with the Joker over the years.Kevin Conroy IS best animated batman voice and one of top 3 batman ever. The only
non Conroy voice In the line that have come close to him Is Bruce Greenwood.

There's a lot of talent in these roles. Why not keep them?
Eh? Can you explain precisely what is boring about continuing a performance? Were you bored with Conroy or Hamill after their first episode? First season?
The movies aren't connected. They have their own identity. That's why there's different actors each time. That's just how they want to do it. Personally, I like it. It'd be boring to have the same voices in every single movie.
I know it's a different continuity. But if that's the reason they're recasting every project, it's a very flimsy excuse. I can't think of any single instance where the stories or arcs clash with each other. Whatever differences exist are negligible at best. Certainly does not warrant a new crop of actors.Of course not. That was all the same continuity. The movies aren't. That's why having different actors doesn't bother me.
Not what I've been saying at all. I do enjoy new takes. But I'm not getting much out of it if I have to reassess my tastes from movie to movie. For the most part, the new crew have done a sufficient job with their parts. But if I were to hazard a guess, they'd prove more efficient if given the opportunity break into the roles.I enjoy hearing different takes on these characters. Some of you guys are acting as if Conroy and Hamill are the only actors who have ever played Batman and Joker.

Also note that both Conroy and Daly reprised their roles for Public Enemies. Different art style could conceivably denote a universe separate from the DCAU, yet two prominent voices return. If it's part of the DCAU and only drawn differently, well that just supports the perception that regardless of which canon a story belongs to, the elements that make up these individual stories hardly necessitate an entire revision and can be made to support a single timeline.

I took a particular liking to Sisto and Greenwood's turns at Batman. Did I love them? Nah. But then again, I didn't "love" Conroy the instant I heard him either. He slowly but surely just became the character to me.
