I have been mingling in many groups of film goers and especially the ones that HATE superhero movies. Everyone is stoked for TDK and hasn't seen Iron Man or Hulk because its too comic booky. TDK has mass appeal that those two movies lack. It has a lot going for it.

This film is already guaranteed to be 10X better than your bucket-head Iron Man (I think it was going to be regardless), so since that is already established, how much do you think TDK will make in it's opening weekend?

Like I said many times before I think its going to make between 50 - 60M OW.

I can't beleive i'm about to say this, but I agree. I think Explode terribly underestimates TDK, but I agree that Iron Man will probably beat it at the box office. I don't see TDK surpassing the 300M mark. I see it getting close, but not passing it.

However I think TDK will most likely be the superior movie. Given the amount of substance in Begins and the lack of Substance in Iron Man. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Iron Man, but it was definitely an action film through and through.
