BvS Batman's fighting style - new Batman, what should his fighting style be like ?

What should Batman's fighting style be? Just as we saw it in the trailer - quick, brutal and efficient. He devastated those thugs.

My word props to the Fight Choreographer of BvS!

That Batman vs. thugs fight was absolutely breathtaking.

Most impressed I've been by live action Bats in combat. Nice mix of brutality, speed and precision.

As much crap we give Snyder as a filmmaker, he sure knows how to deliver a fight scene. Hopefully the BvS fight will also be as badass as the thug beatdown.

I LOVE how Snyder dealt with people attacking Batman from the back. There was a second where I was dreading the stuntman was going to delay his hit or stand idly, but nope....dude straight up swipes at Batman's neck with a knife and it simply sparks away because of how hard the cowl is.

This is how I've wanted to see Batman fight in a live action film ever since I was a kid. This film is going to be a real treat, I was in awe.

^ The line about old age reminded me of Skyfall. This should be the best DC superhero film since TDK.

Indeed reminds me of Arkham games. Where Batman truly kicks ass.

Also Bruce mentioned something about getting slow... If this is slow...

now that is how batman should fight!!!n omg i just finished watching the trailer that was frickin awesome!!! ok ive reached my embargo limit im not gonna spoil myself jesus that was good.

I... I'm at a lost for words. Snyder ****ing NAILED IT!! :woot: This is how Batman was meant to fight in live action.

Combat looks great. A mix of styles, fluid, brutal motion. Loving it.

It's a wonder there are any villains left in Gotham with that type of fighting style. :funny:

Looks superb.

This is a post Arkham/DCAU live action film that perfectly captures the same visceral and kinetic energy that the animated/video game counterparts are able to do.

This is the Batman realized to its full capacity in terms of fighting. I haven doubt about that. The level of work they did here is ridiculously impressive.

Everything about this quite frankly looks incredible with this last trailer here.

This defiantly inspired from the Arkham games, the takedowns are so very much similar.

In three seconds, he blocks a kick... elbows a guy, then punches another, all the while his cowl blocks a knife hit.

Don't forget that the moment he blows the floor and enters (which is definitely an another TDKR homage) he jams two thugs' guns by throwing some red, glowing, magnetic thingy on them, gets into fight and continues throwing little explosives between the punches. He just keeps getting things out of his utility belt while taking down those thugs. He's fast as hell... pure comic book Batman.

This is the only reason I go to the gym, to be able to do this one day :funny:

Something to consider. This fight is cut for the trailer, who knows how it is edited. He might be doing even more during the fight than it seems like he is. He might be faster.

1000 times better than any live action Batman fighting style.

When I saw Cap 2 WS, I left hoping to one day see a Batman in live action that looked as strong, skilled and threatening as Cap did in that movie. I was skeptical that I would ever get to see it though. But it has happened! This Batman can take out over a dozen armed thugs on camera while they all attack simultaneously! We finally have a Batman that doesn't look like an inferior fighter when compared to other movie martial artist.
