The bodysuit's quite different, and also lighter in colour. It's much sleeker and more organic.

It also looks like it could possibly be sewn rather than sculpted.

The cowl's sleeker and the ears look different too. ANd the mouth-hole's less round.

Very much an evolution from the Begins design.

I see where you are coming from. The ears are different, the mouth hole is SLIGHTLY different. You are right. But it is just enough different to look more like a Batman mouth. Thing is (once again, taking into consideration Bale's narrow face). The suit is less technical, you are right, it is just hard to see on my comp, and I can definately not see the difference in texture lol. The picture is toooo dark for me to tell. And ya, it is sleaker. Very cool

Yeah, it depends on your monitor settings... turn up the brightness or brighten it in some editing software and you can see more detail.

maybe to the fans. no matter how much you argue, batman will never care as much as the fans do about the suit, as long as it's functional and meets the needs (and the begins suit does and has).

my point is that batman probably wouldn't think to himself between this movie and the next "gee, these ears really don't do it for me. i'd really like them to point straight up instead of forward."

LOL. Nipples aren't the only thing that can make a bat-suit Schumacherian. They are just one of the most obvious things. Even without nipples, that is an incredibly Schumacherian suit.

I agree, it has the organic look Joel was going for. The logo I do not like so much either. It looks like a Clooney Suit.
