that 2sec long footage looks amazing....

but really, 2 seconds only?... how did they present that? lmao... "and here's a clip"..."boomboom" ... ._.

I like aliens and epic war films and explosions so this is right up my alley
But...nothing was interesting about THAT footage. You dont see Aliens, you dont see anything other then really poor effects. :o

Eh, anyone think the title itself is horrible?

I read an early draft a few weeks ago, and it was awful. Everything was absolute, no development to speak of. However, if they can pull half of the action sequences from that script, it should be fun cannon fodder.

I ain't looking for anything deep, just an action packed movie.

I don't give a **** man, I liked it.

Are you really defending a movie you know nothing about?

Last 3 posts in this thread of yours are you defending it...why?

Unless you've read the script...but still.

It sounds like a B video game title to me.

Man, I can't wait for this! I love Alien movies.

I just hope its not another ID4. :\

Is it just me or does that blurry alien in the poster look like a gray prawn w/ a predator's head? Probably wont when we see the full thing.

Any news on a trailer. Teaser should be here real soon

From Comic Con Footage Description: "We don't get a good look at him - he's definitely organic like District 9's Prawn."

Didn't the director say they're almost like robots? That thy're "biomechanical"? These two things are contradicting eachother so I guess all we have to go by is the blurry guy in the poster.

If they didn't get a good look at them how can they say they're definitely organic like a prawns?

All we have to go by is what the director says and he says they're bio-mechanical.

That's what I'm going by. The /Film guys review it and said they saw a "huge alien in what looked a robotic suit" so it goes along w/ them being biomechanical

Latino Review said the script was garbage so maybe this isn't a good move for my boy Eckhart.

Eckhart is an up-and-comer, but I don't think he's high-profile enough to really cherry-pick his projects like Leonardo DiCaprio does. I mean, he did some questionable films with Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston for chrissakes, and they weren't hits at all.

Eckhart has bills to pay, just like everyone else. He can't always pick the projects he wants to do, and doing a big-budget sci-fi action flick is an easy paycheck.
