I have a good feeling he will, based on this quote. Although there’s always the possibility he could just use other characters, but Megatron and Dinobot were the only ones to take Dinosaur forms on the Predacons.

“The Predacons in our film are more reptilian in nature. We’ve seen a few in other Transformers films, but (in the new film), we get to see another side of them. It’s all about building a backstory to these characters, and we’ll see that more on the Predacon and Terracon side,” he added.

Yeah it’s clearly a paycheck role for them if they do it. The transformers dialogue has always just been one liners or reacting to something. It’s never actually been real dialogue outside of Optimus Prime.

This may be controversial, but speaking as a 90s kid who loves Beast Wars, I'm actually not that bothered by Chalk not being brought back.

It would've been cool to hear him again, but at the same time I don't feel that his voice really defined the character in the way Cullen did for Prime, or for that matter, David Kaye did with BW Megatron.

And Pearlman didn't sound that bad in the Power of the Primes series.

That's what I HATED about how Michael Bay portrayed Optimus. Morality-wise, Optimus is basically like an older, wiser version of Superman, someone who sees the good in those he protects and tries to do the right thing as a way to inspire those around him. He RARELY if ever kills. More often than not, he doesn't WANT to. Hell, even the War for Cybertron trilogy so far got this right by explaining that as much as Optimus WANTS to kill Megatron at points, he CHOOSES not to because he sees it as otherwise stooping to Megatron's level. THAT'S why Optimus doesn't kill: he's trying to prove himself a better man than Megatron! Having him go around brutalizing Decepticons goes against his character. PG-13 or not, it just doesn't FIT! Even Peter Cullen has complained about that!

One of my favorite aspects of the Bay films is how Optimus devolves into psychopathy. I swear, each movie he becomes more homicidal. He shoots Sentinal's head off after he begs for his life!
