Ben Affleck IS Bruce Wayne/Batman - Part 3

It's can not be just applied to a court of law, I would argue it's a principle in life. That everyone should follow, when that principle is abandoned we get the Salem Witch Trials, we get the Duke University Lacrosse team. We get a bunch of people whipped into a frenzy ready to kill someone without a shred of evidence to prove something one way or the other. The other problem is people jump in to push their own agendas.
This is the internet. It's inevitable that witch-hunts will happen. If the general population operated on facts and objective thinking, we would have a different president by now.

Anne-Marie Losique? Yeah, that's her shtick, it was a part of the show. Haven't seen any videos that incriminate Affleck, but I'm not really following this right now... things should become clearer in the next few days, so there's no reason to follow it all at this point.
Nicely said, John. How's Chas?
Oh how do I long for the days taht the worse that can be said about DCEU was that Snyder was still directing JL.
We need lawd Snyder back...

There's more stuff that's come out and not hard finds if you google his name. He's looking like a right hypocrite following his recent response that he was "angry" over how women in Hollywood are being treated.

After reading your post, I remember a while back when a guy was beaten to death in a shopping mall toilet for being a peeping Tom. After further investigation, it was confirmed that he simply entered the wrong toilet:( Poor guy died because he made a wrong turn.

And way more often then that, we countless assault victims afraid to come forward because people won't believe them.

But yeah, remind me how good that last Fantastic Four movie was. All smoke, no fire apparently.

There's a positive note to this situation. Affleck was on his way out as Batman. The trades weren't wrong. Now WB won't get significant backlash when Affleck leaves. Matt Reeves will no doubt get a clean slate for his version of Batman. It's what the DCEU needs.

The visual effects were cool, but the story was....errr

Dude let fantastic Four go that was two years ago. Why even bring that up, to prove how irrational/ to rationale thought works. Do you think that makes you look good? Donald Trump won an election because people believed in fake news, and they all said the same thing "When there is smoke there is fire about those Hilary emails, Crooked Hilary"

How does innocent till proven guilty mean we can't believe an assault victim? I'm saying put the pitchforks down and let whatever is gonna happen, happen.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Where there is smoke.

There's fire.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Where there is smoke.

There's fire.
Through the darkness of future's past,
The magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds...
"Fire... walk with me."

Nicely said, John. How's Chas?

Heh... probably being yelled at by his wife again, poor sod.

There is? I'm always for "innocent until proven guilty" approach, but if there are many things adding up... well, that speaks for itself, doesn't it? And if the allegations are true, that indeed is quite hypocritical of him and he should suffer the consequences.

I know it doesn't look like it, but I'm actually working at the moment, heh... I make these quick visits to SHH here and there, so I'll trust you on it. Also, to tell you the truth, I don't find Hollywood being a ****ed up place to be much of a news, so I don't follow these reports devotedly. Needless to say, I still condemn these truly disgusting things. Hell, I get nauseated every time I see "The Wizard of OZ" after hearing Judy Garland's side of the story.

I agree at this point WB can cast a new Bruce and receive no flack for it. I was a huge Batfleck fan, my favorite live action iteration EVER. I'm still processing my dismay and sadness, and yes I know men are still good. I couldn't see a scenario where I'd be ok with losing Affleck in the role, but lo and behold...

It will take major contrition, honesty and transparency on his part to navigate this mess he helped create, much less remain as Batman. And I am all for second chances, but he's got to hit every exact note perfect with precisely zero new allegations sent his way. WB may just have to cut the cord between him and DC films. And if his exit was already planned they may need to announce it much, much sooner than they planned.

affleck is defently gone as batman now.wb will likely go one of 2 ways

1:rebbot batman as result of time travel crazyness with flashpoint
2:The Batman will be reboot of batman.

This feels like a gross exaggeration. Especially for someone who admitted he did it once. And no one is asking for violence or even for him to be thrown in jail.

Another reboot of Batman? I understand Flashpoint is crazy time travel stuff but would it be necessary to reboot Batman again?

Eh, they can simply replace the actor without rebooting anything in-universe. It's been done plenty of times before.

ALL this fire is waiting for is to have Gal leave her husband for Affleck. And that is it. Place every PR team in hell. Sweet lawd.

I'd feel bad for celebrities because they are held to higher standards and crucified in the public eye if they do things like this, but they are getting paid millions to be public figures. So it's justified. I don't have sympathy for Affleck. He's in a public position of power and if he is publicly shamed for what he did, it's justified.

I'm not condoning Ben's behavior, but it's crazy to me that the media is making such a huge deal about this while Hollywood still loves the likes of Roman Polanski and Woody Allen.
