I'd say it's looking pretty good in regards to Affleck staying.

Fingers crossed he stays on for literally as long as possible, starring in his own trilogy, starring in multiple team up event movies and having cameos in relevant franchises like Batgirl, Nightwing and other Gotham-centric properties.

Look, at this stage, I'm happy for Ben to stay or leave. I think he truly has a great Bat-performance in him under the right director so it'd be nice if he hung around, but if he'd be happier away from the scrunity of the role then all the best to him.

I think he's already had one great Batman performance, I'd love to see another.
I'd always assumed he was staying, was confused when he so enthusiastically said he wanted to be Batman for Reeves, and people interpreted it as "he wants to leave".

I would love to see him in a script that's halfway decent. The fact that he was able to be serviceable with what he had was very impressive.

And it's been his wishy washy comments since then that have people speculating he doesn't want the role anymore.

Ben's looking good. With some intensive training before shooting(mainly cutting), he would look great. I have faith in him.

I just don’t want someone around who at a moment’s whim will crack under the pressure and throw more fuel to the fire of negativity. He inherited a prestige role that Nolan/Bale worked hard to build back up. It’s so disrespectful to not care to nurture that during your run.

It was especially irritating around Justice League, when all his castmates were well poised and diplomatic with their remarks. Meanwhile he’s got several insiders reporting on his near departure, and during the press run nonchalantly publicly declares he’s “looking to transition out”. Come on.

To top it all off he can’t even get his personal life in order so it doesn’t seemingly affect his professional endeavors. He may look damn near perfect for the part, but if I’m a studio head it is not worth all these headaches.

Look at how Cavill has carried himself through three critically reviled/divisive films. In spite of the films letting him down, he still carries that Superman role with dignity. I’ve zero problems with him in this mantle for 10+ more years just off that effort alone.
