He really is. I've seen him naked he did a play on the west end where he took his clothes off. He's perfection.

His wings look so fake in the cgi

Give it time, people said apocalypse looked bad until they fixed him up with cgi. I think he looks wonderful. I hope he goes blue

Obivously I'll wait for final product, but as of right now, they are very cartoony. I personally don't want Angel going blue, just give him the Archangel markings. We already ave enough blue mutants(Beat, Mystique, Nightcrawler, Apocalypse).

I don't think his wings look fake, so much as "ethreal". He's an Angel, after all.

I like the sort of quasi Warren Worthington Angel/Archangel design they have going on. Strikes a nice balance.

His wings don't look ethereal at all. They look overtly video game-y. Granted, good video game-y, but this is a live action movie; they shouldn't look so fake.

I don't see it either. He looks decent.

It looks pretty balanced to me. The concept art had more grey, I like the design just fine.

Because there is enough blue characters, don't make blue, who is blue in comics, mhmm,ok...
If he isn't brainwashed, what would be reason to hate Apocalypse so much later?
Hope they don't kill off Warren or Apocalypse in this movie.

I actually don't mind if there are too many blue characters. I would have made him dark blue.

I really think he's not blue because they want a sort of combo of classic Angel and Archangel.

Warren didn't start off as a blue character though so I don't understand why people are upset. I thought when he became Archangel with the metal wings he has the blue skins but with the feathers he's just a guy with regular skin tone.

But I did think the FX looked cheap/unfinished in that teaser. That sort of light grey 'brushed metal' that reminds me, unfortunately, of Wolverine's claws in Origins.

Also, if he's firing blades from his wings, do his wings regenerate those pieces somehow? Or does he lose more and more from his actual wings? Surely that would affect his flight? That's always bothered me with Archangel.

That would be a cool idea but I think he looks fine as is. I like the markings he has on his face.

Haven't more modern versions of Archangel been able to change themselves from blue to more human-looking?
