Beware the Batman - Part 1

Disappointed it's been pulled. it was a nice idea to play with the less iconic characters but they missed the boat on some. They should have used characters like Joe Potato and Harold. Introduced Azrael. They'd have gotten a whole other generation of Batman fans interested.

Right when I was just getting into the show they pull it, makes perfect scene. :cmad:

God... some of the comments on the internet is just so embarrassing.

- ''That's what it gets for taking Young Justice away from me''
- ''Good... It's crap. Bring back B:TAS!''
- ''If it hasn't got The Joker in it, it deserves to be cancelled''

I have a little cousin who loves Batman and will take this news in a more mature manner than some of the so called adults on the internet.

Jeez.

Those are the kind of people we can do without commenting. I loved B:TAS but it's over and has been for years. Let it go. I never saw Young Justice League but it's gone too because these days WB/DC can't keep anything going without resetting it every few years trying to sell toys with it. And let the other villains have a chance for once. The Joker is iconic but hardly the only one that matters. And if you don't like it, just don't watch it. :whatever:

Seriously, I was SO not looking forward to BtB, but I gave it a chance. It's pretty darn good. Some people need to give up on this notion of bringing back really old series.
The "TimmVerse" had it's time. Nearly 25 years! It was so great! The best! But give other ideas a chance to grow. Cartoon Network seems determined to kill any serious, legitimate DC cartoon that comes around.

Ehh this was ok. Had a good story but the animation was just too clean and kiddy just like GL:TAS. Story made up for it with both shows though. Young Justice was where it was at though, still can't believe how CN did that show

Makes me wonder if CN execs just don't have much interest in DC-related toons at the moment.

I enjoyed the show. I honestly would've enjoyed it more if they did their take on traditional characters like Dick and the main villains, but I realize that's not what they were going for. I'm positive it would've been more of a success had they used more iconic villains.

I, like many, really disliked everything about this show before it came out. All it took was that first episode and I was in.... I was really attracted to the style of the show. Being a huge fan of SWTCW animation style I was hyped to see the same style used. Each episode better then the last and was really looking forward to each new episode and where it was going. This news sucks but alas, there will always be another Batman cartoon down the line... it's really hard to get invested into these shows now a days...

I don't really like the look and style of the show. Won't really miss it when its gone.

The DC shows that have been in CG so far just looked bad.

To the surprise of no one, CN has pulled off this show, both premieres and reruns, off the schedule.

Took them long enough. :whatever:

Yeah I'm not surprised by this. It was only a matter of time before CN pull their usual shenanigans with quality DC animated shows. It's a shame b/c I actually enjoy BTB so far, eventhough I was skeptical about it at first.

Something I thought of is that Cartoon Network regularly pulls shows off the air after 5 seasons at most. No matter what the ratings or quality is. Some of their most popular series went out even when they could have kept going.

Only a handful get a spin off/sequel kind of continuation like Ben 10 or that Total Drama series. There's no more Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, Fosters Home, Grim Adventures, Ed, Edd and Eddie, Johnny Bravo, Atomic Betty, Kids Next Door, Samurai Jack etc. Most of those were popular and PPG even had a highly successful theatrical movie.

That, added with how they've yanked DC stuff in the past has me wondering what their logic is.

DC should really go back to the CW which is owned by WB and start putting their shows back on their and move on from there.

No, it's true. :csad:

At hopefully the gameplay is enjoyable.

No that is the definition of hyperbole. Embarrassing to even think about calling it a fiasco. Just a few overacting people on the internet don't like it.

However this being pulled is ridiculous. Damn you Cartoon Network, though I'm sure its an expensive show to do and if they're not making money then I understand why its being pulled.

I feel like this has been building ever since JLU. I remember after the show got going, they wouldn't show any reruns or encores. They would air an episode once and that was it.

I guess no more adultish cartoons ever for all time

The way they edit the hell out of JLU. I prefer they stay on CN for now.

Justice League Unlimited was the highest rated program on the VORTEXX block recently... and consistently ranks in the top 2/3. Very impressive and not bad for a show that wrapped almost 8 years ago.

Are the edits really that bad?

Oh I agree but that's the age we live now with our cartoons they can't be somewhat serious and dark or have a plot. Which is why Thundercats, New Masters of the Universe, Young Justice, Beware the Batman and other shows like it are going away. They have to be more like Ultimate Spider-Man or Sanjay and Craig and shows like that. It's sad but it's true. B:TAS, S:TAS and JL even the old Spider-Man cartoon would never have lasted a season in this day and age because of how people feel now.
