Yeah I mean I'm speaking from general audience's POV.
I don't really care if they do the origin storyline again or not.
Just that general audience may feel like it's too repetitive or similar to 2002 movie.

I get that, but honestly... so far Peter getting bitten, Uncle Ben's death and the wrestling thing are the only things it has in common. Once those things are out of the way, this movie has nothing in common with Raimi's. lol... hell, Spider-Man/Peter himself isn't anything like Tobey's.

Catwoman is a DC character that belongs in Batman's universe.

Spider-Man is a Marvel character that belongs in Spider-Man's.

Both are love interests for their the respective title heroes. Both have similar traits, and whatnot. But saying one is a replica of the other is ignorant. Read this post carefully because I'm agreeing with you. Just not on the part where you, and others claim that she is a copy of Catwoman.

Hey! Someone changed the name of my thread.. cool. I guess it was misleading haha. Anyways, my opinoin: catwoman and black cat are two very similar characters but i still love them. Always have. Other wise i wouldnt want them in any movies, i want black cat because she will bring something to the table the last trilogy didnt, and im sure sony would love to differentiate the films even more.

Okay guys....but you do know that Black Cat was the cat-burglar thief and sported the leather gear waaaaay before Catwoman did? Jus' sayin'....

Black Cat was also inspired by Bad Luck Blackie not Catwoman.

Yes I would love to see Black Cat on the screen but its never going to happen, at least until they stop using Catwoman in every Batman trilogy then maybe we will have a chance.
