You're jumping to some pretty big conclusions, tbh.

I'm just stating this based on observations I've made from looking at the artworks

Who knows. we might see something totally different

Am I the only one seeing cars at the end of the street? (37. page, 2. post)

I noticed the lack of vehiculars, I chalked it up to the focus being on the buildings.

@IAmAsgardian: I see amorphous shapes in the distance that I think likely are cars but I can't tell 1000%

I hope that is all that's taken. So far the only Panther writer I can't stand more than Coates is Hudlin.

I hope they aren't using the Stelfreeze redesign. That's the worst Panther design ever

I'm happy to see the Stelfreeze influence on Wakanda, but I confess I don't really see much difference in the actual pictures of Panther. What exactly is new?

Does Stelfreeze BP stuff really have much influence in the concept art. It looks like Wakanda has been for the past 15+ years

Also 1 year till the release!

I REALLY hope that Coates doesn't have too much influence in the film process...

Coogler is good friends with current BP writer Coates. A lot of the imagery will be taken from his current run.

Actually that look of the mask (the ears and feline nose in particular) didn't originate with the current Black Panther run. The first time that look can be seen is in the "See Wakanda & Die" story from 2005.

The way in which T'Challa's helmet/mask pulls away from his face and his costume pulls form his body was first seen back in 1998 in the first issue of "The Client" storyline.

I think if we see anything from Stelfreeze in the Black Panther movie it might be the Kimoyo beads, but the other stuff....the timelines just don't match up. The Black Panther film has been in development for a LONG time, the comic wasn't in development that long.

I hope the digital mask makes it into the film. It's very similar to how star lord's mask works:

And Coogler has had heavy involvement the past year.

Coates said that the story will be more Priest like with some elements of Huddlin. However, the imagery will fit his current run.

The art is the best thing about the current run. That Kirby-esque circuitry mask thingy would be cool to see on screen.

Thanks God for that. Coates' run is egregious. He's a terrible comic book writer and has done nothing but s*** on the character and mythology. He and Gay are just beyond awful.
Thankfully, from day one listening to Coogler speak about the character, his input for CW and his overall general intelligence I knew we'd be in good hands. His recent comments from the phase 3 preview as short as it was, was simple yet incredibly significant and something Coates could never comprehend. I'm going to stop here because just thinking about Coates makes my blood boil.
