In the comics Wakanda is made up of many tribes, all of whom worship different gods. The Panther cult obviously worships the Panther god Bast, The Mountain Tribe worships White Gorilla, and there's another cult that worships the Lion God Sekhmet.

T'Challa even mentions Bast and Sekhmet during Civil War. I think, the people in the crowd just saw the suit and immediately thought it was a Gold Panther outfit. Sort of like how that one report claimed they saw two Dora Milaje flirting but Marvel came out and said there was no romantic interest between the two characters.

Thanks for the info. I know I could have just wiki'd it, but I prefer to hear it from a fan.

I think W'Kabi might be fine. Zuri, Nakia, Ramonda, and Shuri haven't been confirmed for Infinity War and I don't think Coogler would kill any of them just yet, maybe in a sequel. Shuri's stunt double was confirmed but not Letitia Wright herself and that confirmation came from of imdb cast list that anyone can edit.

People are thirstier for the IW trailer, and there was a large amount of disappointment when Marvel didn't release the trailer after D23 last week.

We really don't need to see anymore tbh. Between Thor and this leak, I think people are satiated for the time being. Plus, I think it would be better for people to see the footage in full hd for the first time instead of potato quality cam.

There're been some pretty decent full screen leaked trailers of the IW teaser. Seriously, Marvel Studios are in a league of their own. We are beyond the point of an embarassment of riches.

They won't confirm the side characters from Thor or Black Panther until the movies are released. They are side characters and side characters can die, you don't want to go in knowing they will already be in IWs.

Michael Rooker was on set too though before GOTG2 came out. We just don't know until they make it official. IW is a movie event so actors may just visit to be around the atmosphere and hang with friends.

Sounded like Shuri created the new suit to better protect T'Challa and she may have invented Killmonger's. Also seems like the Hatut Zeraze and the Dora Milaje have been merged together.

As much as I'd love to see the footage, the movie isnt coming out for another year. Seeing more stuff will just make the wait that much more unbearable. Judging from that video, the cast has just seen footage so they must have just started post production or something.
