I even gave my ideas of how to split the story.

As for the anime, we hope it does once the arc is over or near it's end, it would be terrible if the final arc wasn't animated.

Oh, it certainly will. But they'll have to wait a long time. It's similar to what happened to Inuyasha.

They'll also have to use up to 4-5 chapters to make one episode, since so little happens in each of them.

Damn is he using some incredible looking moves. This is looking way too good for the CC though. Please don't have this all end with one hit from Juha Bach or blonde dude that literally comes out of Kubo's ass. That would seriously be the most underwhelming thing ever.

So far so good though.

I don't think the Captain Commander is actually going to win. He'll probably deal a good amount of damage but this may be the end of CC after we get a semi lengthy back story between the two and the battle that will ensue right after/during said flashback

It seems as if they're setting this scenario up just so we can see the type of emotional and mental effect this will have on Ichigo when he gets back to SS and see's the entire place wrecked along with multiple casualties among the Gotei 13. This will have a profound effect on him and those who manage to survive.

That's my guess as well. The CC is 'the' big gun the good guys have. If he loses, no one else can win. Him losing will signal the surviving soul society members retreating. I also think Ichigo will arrive at the end, but I have a feeling he'll charge in and get a slight beat down too before retreating at the urging of everyone else.

Of course then that sets it up for the come back, big showdown. The one where they (hopefully) team up with the Arrancar, and other formers enemies like the ones from the last arc. Then set off to reclaim SS.

The only problem I'm having now is where Aizen and the Royal Guard eventually fit in. Aizen is like Orochimaru. Built up to be 'the' bad guy, then done away with in a way that you know they survived. So Aizen ends up a bad guy again, or helps SS? Plus, given the CC's pwning of the lesser villains, they need to somehow up their threat level a little to get the highest ups to care enough to come down. I have a feeling the Royal guard will easily surpass the CC, or atleast have multiple members that rival him, and there's only one guy the Quince's have that can currently rival the CC.

That does give me a pretty good mental image. The survivors of SS returning to Hueco, or Karakura Town to be greeted by Uraha surrounded by Arancar. Of course then comes the issue where they argue and almost come to blows before agreeing to fight a common enemy.

Also meant to mention, I do think Byakyua survived, and so will Kenpachi. I think Kubo just wanted to show that these enemies are the real deal, and anyone can lose/die. If all the Captains won their fight, and only one of the Quince proved to be a real threat, it'd diminish them like it did the Arancar. I think a big problem of Kubo's is that he's built a lot of popular characters, and he doesn't want to let any of them lose outside of Chad, lol. That's why I think so many are loving this arc, he came out saying anythings on the table.

Plus...Byakyua kinda needs to keep the tradition going and become the new CC of Soul Society at the end. Ichigo can't take over as long as he's alive. There's one more dual sword wielding Captain who can fill the role, but I'd rather see him do the whole sacrificing himself to give the next generation a chance thing.

I was saying I didn't think Byakyua, or Kenpachi died. They lose, and come back with more allies to take SS back.


Think of the Arrancar arc. They came out strong, but then all of them lost their fights. It ended up being Aizen vs. everyone. After all the hype behind the Arrancar as tough enemies, they ended up looking like side show pawns.

That's what I mean. If all the Captains all won their fights against the Vanderiech, and only their leader won his fight against the CC, and then went on alone to help his underlings take over SS....they wouldn't look like a huge threat. Especially given how the CC easily owned 3 of the Vandereich alone. Kubo had some of his best people get beat to show that the Vandereich were the real deal, a real threat. That their lower guys could beat a Captain class, and their leader can beat Soul Societies leader. Then the survivors (which I think Byakyua and Kenpachi will be part of, even if carried out) can return later in usual manga style, stronger from brief training with more determination, and allies.

I really hope Kubo sticks to his guns and not have everyone be gravely injured but still alive. It was ridiculous enough with Aizen.

but i was actually getting used to Juha Bach's design for the Final Villain, hope it doesn't run out that the blonde guy is the real Juha Bach.

I assume that the design is the same and that this one is just a copy. Maybe one of his guys has this particular power.

I was finding weird that the [blackout]main villain was being defeated so easily and quickly. The real battle is still going to happen.[/blackout]

There have been rumors that the blonde guy is the real Juha Bach, i doubt that but he'll certainly be important and i the final villain will probably have a different design, look at the original promotion image for the final arc:

Blondie is on the left of what's possibly going to be the Final Villain of the arc, and that guy doesn't have a beard or long hair, it may either be Juha Bach in another body, or he simply changed his appearance, a successor, or maybe it's going to be a completelly new villain that is either an ally of Juha or the true guy pulling the strings a la Tobi using the Madara identity in Naruto, the other option is that he's the Soul King. Or he's Aizen, but i hope Kubo gets more creative than that, either way i fear that the it's take in least an year or two for us to know the answer.

Money on Uruyu being deeply involved somehow. Let me take it a step further and suggest that Kubo may get really bold and turn him into a "bad" guy. If he does I bet it'll be a Gin type of situation where Uruyu knows that being close to his enemies would be the best decision to help out Ichigo & company.

Possibly, he said this arc was going to be about Uryu, but then again, he said this was going to happen as the Hueco Mundo arc was about Orihime and how the Fullbringer arc was about Chad, and in the end those 2 didn't have that big of a role in their respective arcs and have been forgotten.

The latest arcs suggested that Uryu should be much more powerful than Juha Bach's goon, who was himself giving quite a show, so i hope Kubo uses this potencial power up to give Uryu a good role this time, if what was recently said in the arc is true then he has potencial to be as powerful as Ichigo

I do like that it does fit with Aizen's previous plan though and his last "scene" where he's smirking which hinted that he knew more was to come.

While Aizen declined Juha Bach's invitation I'm sure they'll be able to work something out this time around. Like you mentioned though Liam I hope they don't have Aizen somehow kill Juha Bach or heck even Juha Bach to one hit KO Aizen out of the game just to prove how "powerful" he is. Both of those ideas would be really lame.

Both Juha Bach and Aizen though want to get rid of the Spirit King it seems. I don't know when the Royal Guard will get involved but right about now would be good.

Yeah, i hope Aizen isn't the Final Boss again, there are rumors that Aizen may joing the good guys, while he does want to kill the Soul King an Ichigo and Aizen team-up would be awesome
