Enchanted Arms is probably good (I don't know, haven't played it) since FROM Software usually doesn't **** up, but I mean, it's not amazing, like Xenosaga or Kingdom Hearts are good and fun but not amazing. As for gameplay, it's japanese, so probably turn based.
This is probably going to give you more info than I can.

Mistwalker, btw, is mostly all the talent from Square, but working for Microsoft, so if you didn't like games like FFIII for SNES or Chrono Trigger, stay away because you'll hate it.
