Happy to see a strong hold for No Hard Feelings and Asteroid City continuing to play well. As obnoxious as the AI vids and TikTok trends were, I really do think they helped increase attention and land Anderson his most successful film yet here. Love to see it.

Elemental is proving to have legs enough to hopefully keep some faith in original animated projects landing theatrical releases. But it's still super disappointing - and it's wild that the last original Pixar film to have a non-COVID impacted release was Coco, almost SIX YEAR AGO and made 800+ million!

Also, DYING at The Flash already dropping out of the Top 5.

Happy to see a strong hold for No Hard Feelings and Asteroid City continuing to play well. As obnoxious as the AI vids and TikTok trends were, I really do think they helped increase attention and land Anderson his most successful film yet here. Love to see it.

Elemental is proving to have legs enough to hopefully keep some faith in original animated projects landing theatrical releases. But it's still super disappointing - and it's wild that the last original Pixar film to have a non-COVID impacted release was Coco, almost SIX YEAR AGO and made 800+ million!

Also, DYING at The Flash already dropping out of the Top 5.

The Flash numbers are outright funny.

I’m very much rooting for Pixar to get back to its prior strengths. I’m sure it can be done if they back their newer films with enough quality marketing to make them feel like an event like they used to. I haven’t even known about many of the recent films for eg.
