Based on what?
My question wasn't rhetorical.
Aquaman is not A-lister either, sorry to say.

Since when? When did Aquaman drop out of the A list? A specific year would be helpful.
Aquaman is a joke among the general public. His actual character and background aren't widely known. A-list is guys like Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man.
How come Aquaman and Flash are "A-list DC characters" and Thor or Hulk(since you forgot the green rage monster for some reason) are "B-list Marvel characters". Come on you're just reaching. And you look at movie characters and general audience awareness Thor and Hulk have had 4 movies under their belt. Flash has a series and Aquaman is just a blip on the radar at this point.A B-list Marvel character against five A-list DC characters. If JL is halfway good it will destroy Thor.
Well that's not true. BvS opened to 166M.Justice league could be positioned to have lower weekly drops since it releases after thor, giving it legs until star wars mid december. Thor will fall off after 2 weeks once JL releases. The opening weekend for JL will also likely be higher given previous comparable films. Mcu films are all opening to less than bvs's 180. The team up angle also gives them a big advantage. This is all assuming positive reception, God know what will happen if the reviews arent good...

Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman. If you don't even know the characters in Justice League how can you claim Thor will be superior?

A-list guys are guys that are regularly in the list of the top DC heroes. And Aquaman is almost always in the top 10 of those lists.

And Wonder Woman and Flash are also A-List.
Flash and Aquaman are not, and have never been, A-List. Flash has finally reached B-List courtesy of a ridiculously successful TV show, but that's about it.
Comic book readers are irrelevant, as are polls of comic book readers. What matters for whether a character is A-List is "What does the average random person on the street know and think of him?" Because for every person whose ever opened any comic book ever, there's about a hundred who haven't.
Between Thor and Aquaman, one of them was in two billion dollar movies.

You can thank RDJ/Iron Man for that. All of MCU's bilion dollar films involve him. As soon as he leaves or hangs up the suit then the MCU won't touch a billion again.
Also Flash, Hulk and Thor are definitely A-listers. Aquaman is too but his repuatation was a joke, at least until recently with Momoa. After his movie no one will he making Aquaman jokes anymore!
If you say so bub.
Planet Hulk in a Thor movie will kill.
