He has the whole Revengers.
Glad you liked the movie!
To be honest is Thor R made 125 mil opening weekend, Marvel would be ecstatic. If JL made 125 mil opening weekend, WB would be disappointed.
JL no matter how good or bad should still win the battle of the boxoffice. However just because there is a conversation to be had, is a big win for Thor.
Hulk's a weird case, because yes he's got that troubled filmography, but he's also undoubtedly an A-list Marvel character with a fanbase and one of the biggest cultural icons Marvel and Superhero comics in general has. That's definitely something that you've got to consider when comparing Justice League to Thor Ragnarok. It's basically a Justice League film going up against a semi-Avengers film.
I'm laughing at this comment right now.
I'm laughing at the results. Thor will be $600-700 million at most and that's being generous.
If you meant Thor: TDW then that would be a great guess!![]()
At this point post WW, I think I'd go with JL, but it's really going to depend on how good it is. There's a lot of confidence in the quality of TR, but, c'mon, Supes, Bats, and Wondy??? I don't want to sound like a broken record, but we shouldn't even be wondering. If JL isn't really good, I don't see it doing BvS WW numbers. Thor could do 700-800M. Hell, if people REALLY like it, who knows? I have this feeling that TR might surprise people OW. WW will definitely help JL out of the gate.
600/700? Generous? lolI'm laughing at the results. Thor will be $600-700 million at most and that's being generous.
I hadn't heard an audience laugh so much in a theatre watching a superhero movie ever. And I'm not joking about it. I've watched every superhero movie that's hit theatres since X-Men and I have never heard such consistent laughter. In fact I can't recall the last regular comedy film I saw that got such a response.

I see that you haven't really been paying attention to the tracking.
That's what I'm thinking. Was surprised to see this thread existed. Then I opened it expecting 90% votes for JL....and Thor 3 is ahead??To be honest is Thor R made 125 mil opening weekend, Marvel would be ecstatic. If JL made 125 mil opening weekend, WB would be disappointed.

In fairness though, Iron Man 3 is a 'bad' movie as is IM2 and they cleared big bucks, so the 'DC fans will watch any old tosh' is not just DC specific, it could be said for Marvel as well.
One negative aspect of the universe model which I love is that the ****test films can see a boost just from being in the universe and living off the work of the good films in that universe. This likely affects all of the universes and even sequels in general.
