Breaking Bad - All Bad Things Must Come To An End - The Finale Thread

I have so many theories for tonight's finale, but I'd rather keep them to myself and just watch how this this epic conclusion to perhaps the greatest television show ever unfolds.

I think Walt, Jesse, Skyler, Marie and Uncle Jack all hash out their differences over some green beans from Albertson's.

Then, Walt will drop trou to his tighty-whities, grab his junk and exclaim "Green Bean, this!" and walk off.

Fade to black.

The entire thing was an open sandbox game in the vein of GTA being played by Badger.

Goodbye Breaking Bad.

Thank you for all the thrills and the music.
Damn I'm excited as hell and a little depressed too.

What would you do
If it all came back to you?
Each crest of each wave,
Bright as lightning.
What would you say
If you had to leave today?
Leave everything behind
Even though for once you're shining.

Standing on higher ground,
But when you hear the sounds
You realize it's just a whim
And you notice it matters
Who and what you let under your skin.

If put to the test
Would you step back from the line of fire,
Hold everything back
All emotions and desires?

Convince yourself to be someone else
And hold back from the world
Your lack of confidence.
What you choose to believe in
Dictates your rise or your fall,
Dictates your rise or your fall

With no one else around you,
No one to understand you,
No one to hear your calls,
Look through all your dark corners
When you're backed up against the wall
Step back from the line of fire...

I've been in lesbians with this song since last Sunday. I think it'd be kinda fitting if this song played during the finale.

I miss Mike. He should've iced Lydia when he had the chance. :(

I've seen a million numbered doors on the horizon,
Now which is the future you chosen before you gone dying,
I'll tell you about a secret I've been undermining,
Every little lie in this world comes from dividing,
Say you're my lover,
say you're my homie.
Tilt my chin back, slit my throat
Take a bath in my blood, get to know me
All out of my secrets
All my enemies are turning into my teachers

Congratulations on the mess you made of things
I'm trying to reconstruct the air and all that brings
And oxidation is the compromise you own
But this is beginning to feel like the dog wants her bones...

You force your fire and then you falsify your deeds,
Your methods dot the disconnect from all your creeds
And fortune strives to fill the vacuum that it feeds
But this is beginning to feel like the dog's lost her lead...

We touch the walls of a city streets, and
Didn't explain
Sadly showed us our ways
Of never asking why
Cast down,
It was heaven sent, and
To the church no intent to repent
On my knees, just to cry

Until you travel to that place you can't come back
Where the last pain is gone and all that's left is black

Bright nights cease coming to me, and
Some day
They'll punish my deeds, and they'll find
All the crimes
But then they ask when they going to see them
Then they're going to
Ask to feel the ghosts, the walls, the dreams
Oh, I've got mine

Ah my gosh, I don't get off work until an hour after the show is on. VR is on, but I can't wait!

You want to cook crystal meth? You and, uh… and me?

Mike was without a doubt my favorite next to Jesse, and how I hated Jesse in the beginning.

I mean they are all murderers, but if nothing else Breaking Bad has showed me there are more likable and personable murderers than others. :yay:

And rewatching during the marathon, so many heartbreaking and ironic moments, so much comedy and symbolism. You also notice all the opportunities given to each and every character to turn back and stop their eventual ruin. Mike should have killed Lydia and not underestimated Walt's ticking time bomb of pride.

Very true.
It doesn't help that it's way more fresh to me than the long time fans. I just caught up a couple of weeks ago. Lol

Haha I got into this show on the second episode of season 2. I was immediately interested, but I didn't fully understand what was going on so I found the first episodes online and I got instantly hooked. And I've been hooked ever since.

I'm rewatching the pilot. I'd forgotten just how early on the theme of Jesse getting his ass beat started. :funny:
