Read what I said again.

Of all I pointed out, its not the why or how are they all dead that bothered me but the way it had to happen for it to work like it was intended IE having a room with all of them inside when they could've easily be spreaded out throughout the site..

That kind of prediction/gamble by Walt just seems a little too much Batman Gambit for my tastes.

That's a good point, but I think it's the universe tends to give Walt a hand when needed, like even earlier in the episode when the car he stole had the keys in them already, or any of the times he's managed to escape death. I think it just shows how lucky Walt freakin' is.

This is EXACTLY what me and my mom were talking about just now. When he entered that lab, he had a look that kind of said "yeah, I'm gonna die, but I'm proud about what I'm leaving behind. My legacy stands." He had that tinkle in his eye. And his blood mark being left right there just furthered put a stamp on HIS legacy.
Ha yeah, I mentioned that as well. It was a literal stamp on his work. Blood, meth, and tears. FeLiNa indeed.

I think he wanted to take everyone out, himself and Cow House included, but when he saw that Cow House was being made to cook Walt's formula against his will, he decided to save him.

Most satisfying finale since The Newhart Show.

Every scene was so well crafted. This series was a labor of love from the very beginning and it shows in every episode and every scene.

I would have liked for Jessie to get the remaining cash, but otherwise, stellar TV.

Haha I just saw your post just now. Indeed, it all played out wonderfully. Walter White dies seemingly with his legacy intact. He died in his area of "expertise" and was proud. Really a fitting end to an epic series.

I still think it's funny that Gretchen and Elliot are Ross Geller's ex-wife's life partner and the new Mike Teevee's dad.

I'm glad science got used one last time to give Walter an edge on other criminals.

Laying it on more than a little thick there.

You gotta understand...I am SO ANGRY that Jesse just got away like that. I knew Walt would die but I was counting on Jesse dying also...not that Walt would die while the little junkie goofball screw up drives away laughing...it's just not fair IMHO and I hate it.

I honestly thought Walt was gonna smoke meth in his final moments.

I just hope Jesse has a happy ending to his life.

I love that you hate it. :yay:

My emotionally comprising review of this last episode...I couldn't help but let the tears flow. Man...

In Skyler's last scene we see her left hand move as if she wanted to stop Walt or say something else at the end but she chose not to.

I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed.

I don't mind that the only real closure came from Walt's story. It has always been Walt's story. It is fitting that the closure belongs to Walt. My disappointment comes from how cliche Walt's ending is. Creating a greater evil in the form of Nazis, just to give him some redemption...meh. I almost feel like last week's premise was a more fitting end for Walter White. There was nothing special about him. He was just a monster and died alone in a cabin...I feel like that would've been a much more fitting ending for Walter.

Agreed on every point. Walt dying alone with nothing but his money would have been a much finer ending than that. I liked it sure enough, but ultimately it was far too much like early Breaking Bad and less of a character examination and examination everything he has wrought than previous episodes.

I was cringing when everything went off without a hitch.

It's also, if you think about it, one last symbolic, albeit unintentional, "f you!" to Jack, Todd, and Lydia. Remember, the word on the street, which was confirmed by Badger and Skinny Pete (aka "the two greatest assassins west of the Mississippi" :oldrazz: ), is that "Heisenberg" was still making the blue meth. Thanks to Walt being found dead at the scene at that lab, it's very likely the DEA will believe that Walt was still running his meth empire even while he was in hiding; he will still be remembered as the infamous Heisenberg in the annals of crime while Jack, Lydia, and Todd will just be a bizarre footnote.

Walter White wins. He dies, but wins as he has his infamous legacy intact. :yay:

Why? I figured some would have that reaction but I don't understand it.
I can't read your blackout text on my tablet, can you just post it? And while you're at it, explain to me why Jesse is so likeable to a lot of people here.
