Read what I said again.
Of all I pointed out, its not the why or how are they all dead that bothered me but the way it had to happen for it to work like it was intended IE having a room with all of them inside when they could've easily be spreaded out throughout the site..
That kind of prediction/gamble by Walt just seems a little too much Batman Gambit for my tastes.
Ha yeah, I mentioned that as well. It was a literal stamp on his work. Blood, meth, and tears. FeLiNa indeed. This is EXACTLY what me and my mom were talking about just now. When he entered that lab, he had a look that kind of said "yeah, I'm gonna die, but I'm proud about what I'm leaving behind. My legacy stands." He had that tinkle in his eye. And his blood mark being left right there just furthered put a stamp on HIS legacy.

Laying it on more than a little thick there.

You gotta understand...I am SO ANGRY that Jesse just got away like that. I knew Walt would die but I was counting on Jesse dying also...not that Walt would die while the little junkie goofball screw up drives away laughing...it's just not fair IMHO and I hate it.
I just hope Jesse has a happy ending to his life.
I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed.
I don't mind that the only real closure came from Walt's story. It has always been Walt's story. It is fitting that the closure belongs to Walt. My disappointment comes from how cliche Walt's ending is. Creating a greater evil in the form of Nazis, just to give him some redemption...meh. I almost feel like last week's premise was a more fitting end for Walter White. There was nothing special about him. He was just a monster and died alone in a cabin...I feel like that would've been a much more fitting ending for Walter.
Haha I just saw your post just now. Indeed, it all played out wonderfully. Walter White dies seemingly with his legacy intact. He died in his area of "expertise" and was proud. Really a fitting end to an epic series.
It's also, if you think about it, it's one last symbolic, albeit unintentional, "f you!" to Jack, Todd, and Lydia. Remember, word on the street, which was confirmed by Badger and Skinny Pete (aka "the two greatest assassins west of the Mississippi"), is that "Heisenberg" was still making the blue meth. Thanks to Walt being found dead at the scene at that lab, it's very likely the DEA will believe that Walt was still running his meth empire even while he was in hiding; he will still be remembered as the infamous Heisenberg in the annals of crime while Jack, Lydia, and Todd will just be a bizarre footnote.
I love that you hate it.
