Did u sleep? Eat?

The show has about 60 episodes so u must be really dedicated becuz that's like spending all waking hours watching BB :wow:

Dunno if I could do that and retain all the details of this show

yea i didn't get much sleep at all,
pretty much every waking hour was just watching bb, with short breaks for food/showers/other things etc

there was times where i said to myself
"Ok after this episode i'm gonna give it a break and do something else"

but then the show would end on a Must See next episode cliffhanger and i'd end up watching more, i was intent on catching up before any major spoilers came out seeing how the show is wrapping up soon

it was just that good, i hardly get that invested in any show but i was just hooked, and all the episodes were available so i didn't have to deal with weekly waiting or season breaks so there was nothing really preventing me from watching it all, pretty hyped for the final episodes and seeing how it all ends, this whole season has just amped up so much each episode, i loved the latest episode, it was so intense from start to finish

looking forward to the saul goodman spinoff, he's one of my favourite characters on the show :woot:

Team Walt just has an unshakable man-crush. I bet if Walt had accidentally stabbed and killed Skyler and Junior in the latest episode, they'd still be on his side and try to justify it somehow. "Well, Junior never said 'thank you' for breakfast" or "Skyler screwed Ted!"

I suspect that they are just a bunch of mini Walts; unfulfilled, bitter and pushed around in life. They just don't have the smarts to build a meth empire.

:p

I kid. :cwink:

It is very hard to be on team walt, but as said before; it is a testament to the writers that we still care for him and even want to see his story through to the very end. To make a good guy the villain and still create a believable character that is not just a black and white trope of what we expect a villain to be.

God bless the Breaking bad team.

Wait What? I'm on team Walt but him taking the baby almost put me against him, if he didn't deliver it back, and had he killed Skyler i wouldn't be on his side either, even if she was the one who used it first.

I'm Team Walt.

And honestly, if he had stabbed her and/or Walt Jr. Flynn. accidentally, I would've blamed Skyler.

She was the one who grabbed the knife and started swinging at Walt like a mad woman, and wouldn't even calm down enough to let Walt leave.

And of course, Flynn blames it on Walt.

Flynn finally came around and saw Walt for the dangerous lunatic he is. If ANYONE was on Walt's side until it was impossible to be, it was Junior. He idolized Walt. And Walt just implied he killed Hank, and was now screaming at them to get out of the house. Can you really blame Skyler for freaking out (well, I know you can, because you're irrationally on the side of a guy who's directly or indirectly destroyed more lives than some third-world dictators :o )

It's like Dean Norris was talking about on twitter. You pro-Walt guys are just weird and kinda miss the point that Walt isn't supposed to be some anti-hero you root for, but a character study of a guy who turns into a monster.

Didn't Vince Gilligan basically come out and say that if you hate Skyler you're watching the show wrong and probably a misogynist?

Something like that. I didn't always like Skyler, but once I really thought about it, and realized all the terrible things Walt has been doing/bringing in to her life...her attitude is pretty freakin' justified.

I would hope he didn't actually say that, because that's pretty dumb. I'm fine with Skyler, but to call anyone who doesn't like her character "probably a misogynist" is a stretch. I could easily see how she'd be grating to some people.

But that's the point. Walt has never made that complete transformation into a monster. There are times where he's gotten a bit too much into the Heisenberg persona and said/done some horrible things ("I am the Danger", "I'm in the empire business"), but despite everything he's done, Walt still loves his family, including Jesse (whom he kinda sees as a surrogate son). And though his actions don't necessarily show it, he really did what he's done for them.

If him surrendering to Hank without fight, REPEATEDLY trying to call off the Nazis (and later begging for Hank's life when Hank himself wouldn't), as well as making Skyler out to be the victim rather than the willing accomplice she was), and telling Skyler that he still wanted her to have the 80 million and provide for their children when he's gone didn't prove that, I don't know what will.

Hitler loved his dog. What's your point? :o

That's the understatement of the year. :o

Whatever helps him sleep at night. Everyone was on Team Walt in the beginning of the series, because that was true. But if it was truly for his family he would have stopped when he had enough money to pay off his bills (was it $70,000? I forget). Instead he continued until he had more money than he knew what to do with. He was addicted to the power and the ego-trip of being regarded as a "meth king" who was feared and respected.

Sure. The problem is with people who are no longer on Team Walt. The problem can't possibly be with the few remaining Walt fetishists who justify their continued love for a murderous, destructive psychopath who brings misery to all his family and friends.

He tried to save Hank's life, yes. If it wasn't for Walt, Hank would still be alive in the first place. Walt caused Hank untold misery over the years in his Heisenberg persona and he's the reason Hank was in the desert that day, and he's the reason the Nazis came.

And then two minutes later, he condemns Jesse to death in a transparent attempt to re-assign the blame to him, in order to make him feel better about himself and his role in his brother-in-law's death.

It's really time to move on for the Team Walters. They're sounding increasingly out of touch with reality.

At this point, Team Walt and Team Todd (including his uncles) are the only players left in the game (Team Jesse is temporarily postponed). I'd rather be in Team Walt than Team Todd. Although I mainly consider myself to be in Team Jesse.

I also don't hate Skyler as much as everyone else does. She is a bit of a *****, especially in the early episodes, but she is nowhere as big of a ***** as people make her out to be. If anything, Marie is 100 times the ***** that people claim Skyler is. I would write an entire rant on her but I can't due to being on my phone now :cmad:.

Wonder what happened to Mike and Drew Sharp's bodies. Are they still just dissolving in tubs in that garage they were using last year?

I am team Walt because I just want to see the bad guy win, is that so awful? I mean he is awful and terrible but at the end of the day i still want to see him win. He has never wanted to kill people, he has come to the conclusion that some people must die to preserve himself granted, but i honestly believe he never activley WANTS to kill people. I know i'll still be seen as crazy but its the only an opinion. There also is not one innocent person in this show, maybe walt jr., so really do we root for the bad guy or the slightly less bad guy.

Does anyone follow Dean Norris on twitter? That place is a freaking goldmine of hilarious tweets lol

This show is beyond "team this or team that" imo.

Wouldn't calm down enough to let him leave? She told him to get out multiple times. There was nothing between Walt and the front door but empty living room. He got cut because he wouldn't back off.

Was I the only one who saw Gus's mannerism in Walt when he told Jesse about Jane?

Yea it's a shame that something as BB's character development has been diluted to Twilight-esque team associations.

Yup, seems like Walt has been trying to be Gus for a while now, I think he is finally there.
